India In The Nineteen Eighties

Heard of  a story

nay, it is not one of a story

it is but  a real affair

that came to indira_gandhi_fashion_20070820  alive

down in the Indian sub continent

that of  say in the nineteen eighties

when there in the government

be it in the central

with a host of ministers all being men

qualified or unqualified

whatever might be

most in traditional Indian costume

and a few in the western attire

thoroughly subdued  and submissive

but there be a woman

with an iron will and determination

be it for good or bad

be it just or unjust

be she merciful or ruthless

whatever might be the state

she professed a stern and impenetrable attitude

that made everyone jocularly remark

be there only one man  in woman’s attire

heading the cabinet of women clad in  men’s dress.

A Fraudster

Doing wrong all the time
but living in prime
calling himself a saint
boasting he has no taint
made me miserably faint.

Taking money from the common pool
believing others to be a fool
saying it is his wife’s tool
getting it approved as a rule
going about like a mule.

He has prospered thus far
never entering the war
but making good of the disposition
being the eldest in position
posing himself a saint in occupation.

As all things have to fall in places
his deal has been diligently in chase.
His deceit has come out from the haze
and now feel shy and bad to face
by hiding himself from everyone’s gaze.fraud

The value Of Tradition

It is a tradition on the move.

sticking to the values in a  grove,

shunning the deviation in a blue,

passing on with a conservative flew,

implementing a decorum true,

gliding she crosses the avenue like a dew.

Her move is  an enthusiasm  lively.

With a charisma she proceeds gaily,

with a stamina she presides sternly.

with a  discipline she conducts firmly,

with an energy she works untiringly,

taking her to the  step of victory.

Tradition is not  only in her attire specially.

It is  found in her speech almost admiringly.

It is seen in her manners all the most specifically.

It is explicit in her character very distinctly.

It is visible in her demeanour most explicitly.

Tradition makes her look tallerexplicitly,  than everyone else totally.

The Cardinals

Mind your language.

It reflects your lineage.

It gives you a leverage.

Mind your anger.

It talks of you in meagre

It lasts longer.

Mind your behaviour.

It illustrates your interior.

It delivers a profound exterior.

Mind your pride.

It takes you for a ride.

It dwells within your hide.

Mind your desire.

It evolves an aspire.

It diffuses into an ire.

Mind your attire.

It might infer a satire.

It spreads an admire.

Mind yourself in the world.

It is the perfect road.

It would lead you to heights untold.
