Living in a nest
the bird played in zest
perched on the crest
it twittered in a test
squeaked without rest
as if its voice is best
the bird is truly blessed!

The words In “D”
hopped up now and then
dealt with them
in my own way
a thought to write
on words of letters
creeped up all at once
I went with the “S’
and now with the “D”
I do not know how much
I was successful
how much interest it created
how my viewers found it
I keep on writing with a gusto
the “D” series had come to an end
like to pick up the rest
in a while from now.
