Man is driven by necessity

most times he walks with head high

Driven by loss and wants he turns to the reality

had been unmindful  of others all through

an extravagant transaction had brought the fall definitely

been  saddled by liabilities  becomes insolvent  in truth.

being an one of recent  that happened a day before

A door lets the world in

moves there the unwanted slowly
a door is an opening of necessity.

Like to have no door at all
closeted within  oneself securely
letting out  none from outside

a door  is an opening  of necessity.

Like to have a narrow outlet
with the requirements to come into
a stop of the undesired  with a force
a limited open to the outside

Like to have a door of my choice
let alone the good into

Vows are made in the face of challenges

Promises  of merit are to kept at any cost

as otherwise they seem  a meaningless slot.

Both  are  dead easy to confirm and construct

as long as they remain a  mere wordy instruct.

 

Vows   take the cue from anger and pain.

At times they proceed to a bloody slain.

Promises are born out of  will and necessity.

Most times they rob  life out of immunity.

Vows and promises should not  come down as rain.

Lady of The Mentally Robbed.


She looked brave and fearless.

Her status was great and righteous.

She volunteered to handle the tactless.

She did with all the more diligence nevertheless.

 

Taking care of the deranged was troublesome.

She accomplished it with a grace wholesome.

She never complained about her duty cumbersome

Rather she had to toil for nothing awesome.

 

Willingness  drove her to undertake the work.

Initially  her lack of experience landed her in dark.

The inmates greeted her with a loud bark.

She got accustomed like  a graceful  lark.

 

As years rolled she became familiar with her job.

She was a genuine aid not a snob.

She created among the deranged a meaningful throb.

No wonder, she was hailed as the “lady of the mentally robbed”

An Entreaty


Milk is poured on the deity,

To keep everyone happy,

Yogurt is poured on the deity,

To make everyone live in gaiety,

Tender coconut water is poured on the deity,

To bring about a lot of sanity,

Sandal paste is poured on the deity,

To usher in a realm of piety,

Honey is poured on the deity,

To facilitate a spontaneity,

If only these things are given to the needy,

They would live in a blissful solidarity,

This is a fervent  entreaty,

This is an appeal in an entity,

That would take care of the have-nots fundamentally.
