My Door Ajar.

it is a bit tiring

could I say boring

with no work to do

none requires urgency

work is done automatically

I turn lethargic  all the way

read and relax  all the day

write and rejoice all through

musical my life has become

I hear all pleasant notes around

nothing much I have to do

as to keep my door ajar.

Hallway with front door ajar

An Opening Of Necessity

A door lets the world in
comes there the noise and bustle
finds entry the good and the bad
moves there the unwanted slowly
a door is an opening of necessity.

Like to have no door at all
closeted within  oneself securely
letting out  none from outside
suppressing any from the inside
a door  is an opening  of necessity.

Like to have a narrow outlet
with the requirements to come into
a stop of the undesired  with a force
a limited open to the outside
a door is an opening of necessity.

Like to have a door of my choice
let alone the good into
drive away the bad out of the way
a lovely entrance to the inner and outer
a door is an opening of necessity .

Death so Near.

A priest of the temple
started the day early
special prayers in the shrine
as the devotees came in a steady stream
became busy with the activities
remained so till noon

He opened in the evening the doors
got into the routine
while he was chanting the slokas
felt uneasy and swooned
breathed his last
with flowers in his hand

The Guest

There was the bell at the door
opening widely the door
found an unassuming entrant
who came without a dissent.

He moved with me so fast
wherever I went with a cast
radiating a warmth unbearable
and a sweat intolerable.

Tried to push him out
he did not go all throughout
staying with me not only for the day
prolonged his duration by months in a way.

He paid no charges
lived comfortably with me
making me slog and perspire
putting me to such hardships.

Battered waited for his exit
with patience and endurance in the kit
he did not bother to find another place
being happy and pleasant in my place.

When would you go out ? I sulk
not today or tomorrow he says UnwantedGuest11looking bulk
When would you? I shout
he replies in the negative standing stout.

He would be with me for another six months mostly
disturbing me with his incessant heat totally
Oh! you, the  sun please let me alone I beseech
as no longer could I put up with your preach

Ode To A Door.

The wooden door over there
stands for centuries there
it does not look bare
it is one that which is rare.

The wood is known as teak
having everything in sleek
the thickness and rays found greatly
show its  tenacity and beauty  mostly.

The door opens out and closes
with its hinges still in force
creak does it at times
still being  alert all times.

Scenes that took place inside
incidents that happened outside
has the door recorded  with dates
never would it reveal at any rate.

The door is a silent spectator
listening to that transpires now and later
from within and without  be it
never commenting good or bad in a bit.

Doors like human has ears and eyes
and a mouth too but very nice
speaking nothing ill of anyone
preserving its dignity always never for fun.door

A Piquancy

Scared I stood behind the door.

Suddenly there erupted a roar.

Shivering I waited for more.

Hope there should be nothing in store.

Any move would  cause a blow.

I took a few steps in tip toe.

My legs dragged me to a slow.

What would come next I do not know.

Moved ahead with a caution to the door.

Peeped  through the hole  in the door.

I saw something tiny crossing the door.

I pulled my eyes out of the hole in the door.

With confidence I opened the door.

I could see nothing out there along the door.

What was it then that moved through the door?

I got in slamming the door.

It was my mind that was working feverish.

It was my mind that kept me in anguish.

Mostly it is my mind that interrogates with a garnish.

Finally all  end up in a situation sans relish.
