A tolerance could it be
I could very well see
an endurance of great magnitude
i would even call it beatitude
an extreme patience all the way
being unbelievable in the fray
not with an exhaustion with a resilience
seem to be the primary incidence
well executed with no chagrin whatsoever
sensitivity was forbidden forever
the kindness, as I term it, was superior
expressed graceful and majestic demeanour.

That be A Religion
That be a religion
one that is so regional
could have been worldwide
could have gone wider in tide
could have been restricted in the sway
could have slowed down in the way
being one of tolerance of magnitude
neither enforced nor abused in latitude
one of passive endowments so mild
an ancient one with principles easy to abide
propagated through oral tradition from yore
the hymns and the songs flow
the literature and the scriptures denote
revolve around precepts that emulate in notes
discipline and decorum emphasized
faith and belief very intensely described
not set in rules as others put across
free to practice as now and when in pause
a concept of a rare quality with an enlightenment
where compassion overtakes passion
where truth overcomes reason
where ideals overwhelm ideas with an insight
where science and religion coexist
astrology and astronomy work together
predictions and reality go hand in hand altogether
truth or “sathyam” being paramount in life
pretext and pretense
ion are condemned in the strife
while “karma” holds the loop as we find
the seven births show the precincts in a kind
being born as per your earlier birth’s deeds
the good and the bad being the outcome of all deals
the religion has many latent facets and facts
be it called Hinduism as in its rightful track.
Being A Luxury.
Being a luxury
he could not afford it actually
wanted it stubbornly.
Being very impish
he behaved rather very foolish
opting to be lavish.
Being a spendthrift
turned bankrupt in a drift
never was thrifty.
Up To Play
The rains play with me
so do the squirrels
as such both are up to pranks
they are mischievous and free
In the morning it was bright and sunny
I placed my carpets out in the open yard
the rains poured for a few minutes
I ran to save them in a manner funny.
Could be similar in the afternoon too
I lay on my bed looking through
the sun was cheerful and brilliant in tone
the rains poured and were torrential too.
The squirrel entered through the front door
I usually keep the door open all through
never did the squirrel made its way in
I have to firmly close the main door.
My dining room opens out to the garden
I watch the greenery around
the squirrel came through the entrance
the little one has become a burden.
The ways I am mocked through the day
seem not a few but too many
small incidents put me to task
well, life works out that way.
My Writing
My writing has gone dry
I seem to be in a spell dry
being the joke in a way
I write much in a day
when my heart cries out
emotions do the magic throughout
when I am placid in a sense
my thinking is not dense
my thoughts become dry
I have nothing to buy.
Walk Away With An Empty Hand.
It is an endless wait
would have to bear it
for how many years
I do not know
it is going to go down
the generations in all
we being the first
pass on to our children
then to the grandchildren
from a voluminous form
it shrinks into a paltry
finally turns to nothing
is it the destiny ?
one has to remain with hands tied
spreading out involves money
most times the expenditure
turns not fruitful and worthy
becomes a tedium in years
a withdrawal descends
we like to abandon the whole
walk away with an empty hand.
It Was A War.
A war I witnessed a few hours back
it happened just before me in a wink
should I call it a war with a tact?
could it be one with a link?
was fought with such force
no gunshots or military around

was a chase and a flight in the course
the battle being mainly in the ground
one flying up and down with a spite
the other running here and there in fear
the flyer caused a flutter without a respite
the runner tried to escape as its life being dear
I stood long with my heart going out to the meek
well, the battle continued for more than an hour
I walked away totally exhausted and felt weak
well, it was a war not between nations as ever
it was a ravenous crow chasing a bony squirrel
with too much of an intensity in the hot afternoon.
Governance
The Governance sleeps
citizens take the responsibility in a sweep
the city drowns deep.
Think Positive
Think positive as much as you could
certain times an illness is all for good
could extend a rest to the body and mind
the relaxation would have been pushed to the hind
involvement with work and duties would have restricted
while this could be an opportunity to be rested
illness, of courses is a cause of worry and discomfort
the positive side being the enforced rest not in comfort
similar strains could be found in other activities as such
the failures in examination dampens the spirit much
take it this way if you want to overcome all with the tide
failure is the stepping stone for success be your stride
a hard effort would prove to be of great boon
could be said of in the face of a harsh tycoon
suffering could be there in severe forms
yet it would reopen more avenues to correct the deformities
well, that be the way one has to go about in life
illness, failures and disasters cross you in the strife
never slacken at these phases with a discouragement
there are other ways to cope up with arrangements.
Dare You Drive me Out
Dare you drive me out
dare you shun me always
dare you curse me all through
dare you not do any of those
I am rain all the more
the life giver at the best
nothing could happen without me
none would grow or live without me
I am the best source of life
quoth water with pride
I spoke rather in modest tone
none can deny your value
one cannot accuse you of anything
except the way you flood
carry away with you whatever you touch
be it a child, an adult, an old man,
be it a dog, cat, snake or lizard
you take with you in such speed
they swoon and succumb to your force
mercilessly you scoop and toss them
could be an end to those lives
snatched away by your inundation.
