A Pullback

My heart sank to the deepest blue,

The  day’s events pulled me down true,

A shot of quick anger rose in a flew,

A drop of tear rolled down in a groove,

The heart stopped in a slew,

I buried my head in a dejection all through.

A few minutes later I got up with vigour,

Brushed aside the tear in a rigour,

Sidelined the events to a meagre,

Abated the fuming resulting out of trigger,

Rose up with a stature even bigger,

Resolved to emerge victorious with a glitter.

Read Aloud- A Command

My friend  bade me to read aloud,

Letters and words jumbled up in a fold,

My voice stumbled to a hold,

Fear lurked up  making me cold,

Yet I read aloud.

Raising my tone high and high,

Reading with a moderate shy,

I settled to ease by and by,

My first attempt  was a good try,

As I took up the dedicated fly.

My reading was quite  interesting

The audience heard with rapt  binding,

There was a silence really filling,

Adding to the grace of the rendering,

I stood amidst grand rebuilding.

Applauses rant the air,

Appreciation encircled the fair,

Questions came up in pair,

Pat came the answers  from me in quick spare,

I remain grateful to my friend’s care.

Whisper

Whispers are noisy too,

When everything  is still,

The rustling leaves do whisper,

As the wind blows in  a gentle fill,

The flowing streams do whisper,

As the water gushes in thrill,

The peeping Sun does whisper,

As the day dawns in shrill,

The bowing trees do whisper,

As the breeze blows in frill,

The dangling flowers do whisper,

As they dance to the melody in drill,

The little child does whisper,

As  it hears the lullaby  to a will,

Whispers do keep us bound,

As they go through all rounds.

Stealthy Sly

Cats are known for stealth,

In silence they execute,

Without any sign of threat,

They undertake  a looting,

As much as in a hush.

Fox exhibit slyness,

In quietness they introduce,

With little idea of doubt,

Enacting a tricky adventure,

More so in a discreet try.

Stealth and sly are like two eyes,

The one finds a subdued sight,

While the other notes a confused  scene,

Both lead to an undisciplined  sphere,

Rendering a farcical  furtive destination.

Stealthy sly is a risk pernicious,

Revealing a scare of great magnitude,

Hurting the vulnerable with a strong blow,

Mostly men commit such harm in talk and speech,

As we all know words are  more pricking than thorns.

A Monotony

Seeing the same thing,

Day in and day out,

Is a monotony.

Talking the same thing,

Always and ever,

Is a monotony.

Hearing the same thing ,

Mostly and almost,

Is a monotony.

Silence is a monotony,

All and everyone says

Never it is so.

It has many facets,

None and no one understand,

It is never a monotony.

Keeping quiet,

During irrational conflicts,

Is never a monotony.

A passive approach,

To solve the unrest,

Is definitely not a monotony.

A kindred spirit,

In dissolving the differences,

Is far from monotony,

If shouts and screams,

Recall activity ,

It is a disturbing monotony.

If blows and tramples,

Reinforce motion,

It is a wicked monotony.

If schemes and ruse,

Register a buzz,

It is a treacherous monotony.

Monotony is varied,

It is repetitive and tiring,

More disturbing and most killing.
