I Have Won

I have won.

Really,I have won.

It being an award

which is its own reward.

I stand tall and proud

among the learned crowd.

I think of my cute blog

I usually log

not once or twice

but by how many tries

I really do not know

as it is my resting place and flow

where my thoughts gather

where I sit for hours rather

writing what all I experience

not bothered about their relevance

It being a canvas little and colourful

wherein my feelings get sketched in full

not with paint and caricatures

but with words and features

extolling the greatness of nature

enhancing the human qualities in stature

finding myself occupied all through the day

at times in the nights too in a way

with my children all living far

with no duties and customs to bar

I keep on writing with a fervour

with my mind always in a hover

while my body is at a position static

my thoughts go about ecstatic

therein comes the creativity in hand

which slowly and gradually disbands

with the expressions come my reflections

one by one they fall into places in conjunction

with the language with which I am familiar

being a perception that might be unfamiliar

I write for long casting my spontaneous feelings

deftly and skilfully adorning my ramblings

finding a place in the word press platform

that inadvertently has lent a lively form

with that my poetic sojourn which began a few years ago

is rising up to levels not very great but remarkable in the go

with my followers increasing slowly and steadily

while most of my poems gaining readership readily

my tryst with writing has started off though late

I hope would stand the test of times and find a rate

being appreciated for its simplicity and lyricism

along with the dominance of rhythm and surrealism.

With winning this award as a senior I stand with pride

recalling the day I clinched the University top rank in glide

memories keep gushing one after another in great stride

raising me aloft and high with an applause and appreciation by the side.

The Employee

Limitations you must know
as you are bound by it in toe
whether you like it or not anyhow
you have to go by it as of now.

Being paid for your services
tells you of your duties in prefixes
what to do and what not in suffixes
be your motivation in appeases.

Jumping beyond your norms
talks ill of your form
gaining the indignation in storm
upsetting the tradition with harm.

The man in topic always
goes in irrelevant pace
releasing an abnormal gaze
converting things hard to face.

He should be restricted at any cost
no matter what his age be at cast
has to be shown his place at last
or else to be thrown out fast.

The Impertinence

Annoyed at impertinence

I sat in a corner

gazing at the sky

with my mind at vie.

The battle of wits

as it would go

gave a severe blow

while the mind fell apart.

The atrocity was overwhelming

The man being paid

exceeding the prescribed limit

made the heart sad.

He taking for granted

went up and down

being discourteous to his chief

incurring the wrath in brief.

The coterie which surrounds him

unknowing of his status

inflates his ego so high

making him tall and sly.

Time has come to circumscribe

putting him under control

if not he has to be chucked out

lest he would pose a thorn throughout.

Acting Like A King.

Acting like a King

does not mean he is a king

keeping that in mind

the actor should not find

a relapse and a relax on stage

but once out of the stage

should become a real person

no matter what be the reason

failing to understand that

he is sure to throw his hat

and has to cut a sorry figure

if not it would trigger

serious consequences on the move

very much against any prove.

The Imbalance

The rains lash one part
flooding the whole area
while there prevails in another a drought
devastating the entire arena
The extremes do make me wonder
why this imbalance is on the way
forcing me to sit and ponder.
The same way goes the temper of man
while he being so kind and graceful
becomes callous and violent as much as he can
Why do such eccentricity happen ?
make me once again to think aloud
these variances make life wonderful
well this is what I come to understand
as I think and deliberate out-of-band .

The drawings of nature

broad and great in stature

give a colourful feature

that much for the rapture

considering the drawings otherwise

that of extracting her in size

mostly of her goodness likewise

that of her bounties and freebies

even after providing so much

she has not lost her glamour as such

she still keeps in constant touch

with the humanity that has looted her in bunch

that be her unique benevolence

granting her a grand relevance.

The Heaven

It is going to be heaven
said all the seven
calling it in a note even.
Well, that being clearly seen
they were all in the teens
enjoying thoroughly in keen .
The mirth crossed all stream
with the lot eating the cream
while talking about their dream.
The evening went on happily
with the friends talking gleefully
about their experience in a tone lively .
They had to disperse soon
as there could be seen the moon
promising to meet each other at noon.
The seven had a memorable time
as they are meeting after a long time
talking with no thought of time.
The meeting of friends has become the trend
which is made possible with a send
while mails go through without a bend
taking all to the blissful heaven
