The Balloon Man

The balloon man as he is called affably
passes through our lane without fail
with a whistle and a noise in a trail
that bring every child out possibly

The man halts by the tree
fills the balloons with air
puts them out in display with care
an array of colours promoting glee

The excited children flock to his shop wayside
touch each balloon with their hands tender
want to have not one but, many a splendour
their face reflects enchantment besides

The seller uses his skill
creates animals of the balloons
inserts a rattle into the fill
that croaks and barks and croons

The children thrilled even more
run home to get few cents
beg their mothers to spare a little more
walk with heads down cause they received a dent.

The balloon man is a human after all
pushes two more liberally into their hands
sets a tone of pleasure and contentment
a good salesman he is with no brand.

The next day he comes along with a usual gusto
children throng around the man with amity
they trust his generosity
a charm he employs every day in the tempo

The Man Seems

Talk he not relevant
speaks he not truth
curses all the more
swears all the most
foul-mouthed he is
spreads scandals on the go
spills out slanders on the move.

He has lived long so
not bothered about other’s hurt
dwells with pride at his skill
he is an entertainer at first
then comes his second deal
it is sarcasm to the core
a pointed attack severe.

Such men do live
a parasite like entity
glorified by their tongue
relished by the evil
yet they prosper
a life based on others sweat
a creature to be condemned

The Man Supersedes

Science and technology have reached heights
travelling has become easy and cheap
with people able to fly over
from arctic to antarctic
all in a day’s go.

Wrapping up all so easily by man
could he be the champion of every cause
having the medical world under control
the space ships within his limits
going by the brain in all angles.

He with pride innate and inbuilt
walks with a sense of triumph
there being nothing to outwit him
forgetting there be so many capacities
that he has to achieve still.

That being the case for him to believe
he supersedes the attributions that pin him
knowing not his acclaim be not real
humility taking the back seat
while humanity walks with head high .

An Irrelevant Man

A man out there
with a sonorous voice
cries foul awful with a glare
revelling in immense rejoice.

He alleges and accuses
what not and what for
tracing faults in every cause
assuring a progress not far.

He bursts out with a craze
over simple things all the more
his eyes are on a chase
knocking everything with a roar.

Never once he speaks less nor low
always on the top and high
taking the upper hand not in the go
but demanding all in a buy.

That be him in all relevance
aligning with him is not worthy
going with him is always a nuisance
as he is up with a game dirty.

Watering the plants
seems to be a paramount issue
what not one could do
when the mighty are talking of philanthropy
the lesser ones speak of charity
the watering of plants is quite ordinary
which compels you to grumble

A man I have seen not
making big of the small
talking the worst in the best
doing the bad at times of good
a symbol of perversion you are
an embodiment of wretchedness
there one feels a distaste all the more.

The thought of the plants
bring joy to all in general
while for you they are an eye sore
and watering them is a great task.
never known such a man
as all in my life the most
a crooked heartless man you look.

The sultry and humidity that work together
the bubbles and fume that go up together
the light and shine that glow together
the night and darkness that exist together
there being a togetherness all the most
that bring a fraternity in the streak
and show a friendly ambience in the tweak
proposing an ambience of goodwill and harmony
there lying a cordiality and warmth of kinship
that which is the most crucial indulgence
wrapping up the peaceful coexistence of man and animal
closing up the neat survival of mammals and birds
choosing a lovely understanding between birds and reptiles
that becoming translucent in the environment around us.

Man Cries All Through

A man is crying foul

for what I know not?

crying so harsh and loud

why I know not?

crying out that everything has gone

how I know not?

Lo! the poor man is crying all through.

With his cry spreading through

he going and talking to all

that he has lost everything

that be his way through .

poor man ,he being let down

he being ejected by his kith

has now lost his mind.

He ,who shouted that he is the greatest

now is feeling lonely at the latest

a creation of his own mind

that previous one of being smart

the recent one of losing everything

there goes his pride before a fall

a man now no more tall.

The Angel’s Check

Give me a hand
said the angel with a wand
not trusting the angel fully
he extended his hand partially
the angel seeing his distrust
came forth with a test
that being a check for his belief
one that could grant him a relief
she asked him to lift her high
he thinking it to be an easy try
made an attempt to bring her i
it became difficult as she was heavier
though she appeared slender and elegant
her weight was unexpectedly defiant
letting his attempts go in futile
he gave up the struggle
with that the angel gracefully rose
flying into the clear blue skies with a force.

The man very tall
had a great fall
he broke his bones
he being alone
could not manage
so had to arrange
a helper to look after
being one who liked laughter
found a maid who was quiet
she did her job quite right
the tall man got short
his tempers rose in a shot
started to torment her on and off
the woman turned to him with a scoff
not able to co-exist with her
he drove her off in the spur
Lo! the tall man lay alone
as he had broken his bone
