Fair she looks
Fair in all ways
the skin being light
the thoughts being great
the attitude always passive
the speech almost right
the movement very straight
she being honest
lives a life just and fair
fair in all she could and should
smiles with a shine
expresses with a fine
Indeed, she is a loving kind.
Dark is a feature not to fear
a colour not so dear
dark when seen near
throws one out of gear
that be the review of dark
when the dogs bark
could not hear the lark
mind you it also rocks
as the night life rambles
many indulge in gambles
it might be a preamble
it might also look a stumble
Well, for every coin they say
there are two sides in a way
dark holds a bewilder
it also creates a divider
from the known to the unknown
as against wisdom and ignorance
The rains do good
they too also do bad
it is the way they rain
it is the way they deign
the earth is a receptacle
it also faces a debacle
that of a receiver in a sense
that of a deceiver in pretense
the showers fall with ease
they drive one mad in a tease
it being a likelihood all the more
it being a dissimilarity sore
the rains enrich the soil
also delude it in a foil
a strange concept in strength
yet very realistic in length.

The boy of long years
full of life and cheer
once very aggressive and bashful
has become now a man wonderful
solemn and gentle in tone
not because of his choice alone
turned so to adjust to his wife
who keeps him in strife
behaves with a lot of indifference
pays scant or no reverenc

belies herself in her attempts
treats all with a possible contempt
speaks loud and rude
her movements are crude
know the reason now for his change
a man I sympathise from a range
I see rains
after a while
not so in style
falls with pride
on all sides
not here and there
but everywhere
not very heavy
but an escape from levy
that of hot sun
which at times is fun
not a good shower
enough for the flowers
Well! that is how it rains
not very much in a strain
it is but beautiful though
it is scanty in a row
yet it rains all through
a respite from the blue.
That be the rain today
call it rain in a way.
The wind blows
not with a striking force
smothers with kiss
.
A man limps across
crosses the highway
stranded in the middle
looks around for help
expresses his inability
could find none
as others go their way
no time to give a hand
no time to speak a word
no time to behave as a human
the man limps across.
That be a silence
that be a quietness
still and sombre
sober and quaint
a little awesome
more into dreary
a walk to the corner
seems a horror
a look down the lane
is a strain terrible
flowers burst out in colours
trees put forth a greenery
the path is immaculate
none the else to groan
not the more to mourn
yet there is a succour
a way into the realm of fear.
The Niagara falls
tumble with a sonorous gaiety
harsh in rhythm
