and still more aching leg
with the splitting head
and a still more splitting heart burn
with an excruciating throat pain
and a still more excruciating stomach ache
with a nagging back pain
and a still more nagging eye infection
she goes about with a lot of cheer
and with still more service mindedness.
A noble soul she is in real
being an embodiment of 
benevolence.
The passers-by look at him
he being called kim
appearing very trim
apparently very slim
it being a light dim
the ambience was grim
yet his cheer was to the brim
making us look twice at him.
The crackers are in full swing
a noise emanates from one wing
deafening the ears with a terrific sound
a siege of smoke and fumes swarm all round
creating a terrible suffocation all through
the spirit of the festival is greatly through
with fun and merriment exalted to heights
entertaining and enjoying in all rights
that being synonym with the festival of light
where money is being spent with delight
once in a year it occurs in this part
with exchanges of good will and cheer in a sort
expressed by distributing laddoos and sweets
presenting dress to the near with a mood upbeat
patronising the needy to an extent moderately
goes Diwali where diyas are lit severally
illuminating the household outwardly
indicating a lighting up of the soul inwardly
with enlightenment and tranquillity in reality.
Rains did come after a long time.
that being a month’s time
when the town is out of time
experiencing only hotness all time
with no water available every time
the land turned a desert of all time
people perspiring and fuming most time
the down pour comes late in time
bringing in a happy time
when people would rejoice for some time
expecting copious rains in coming times
they need to replenish their stock in no time.
Indeed rains should come for all at all times.
Traveling far and wide
round the side
on a pleasant tide
taking a guide
with nothing in the hide
no more projects to abide
with relaxation as the only ride
he enjoyed himself all well in the glide
returning home with cheer in stride.
Laughter being the best medicine
going up with a very good sign
the laugh brings a veritable bind
that of the receiver and the taker
as a laugh endorses the one
who does so with vigour
and enlightens the one
who experiences so with a trigger
as laugh gets into the core
breaking all the conventions
lightens the heart with no fear
and a hearty laugh gets the heart
run in a comfortable pace
lending a valuable space
dear and great in a way
carrying with it a synergy
and a synthesis of credibility
and validity 
all in one go.
The flowers are looking dazed.
The freshness has effaced.
There is no lovely trace.
They escape from the gaze.
Sad to see them in such state.
They seem to fumble great
Not cheerful at any rate.
but drooping dry in chaste.
Flowers usually bring cheer
They are to be held dear.
Keeping them close and near
will add to the lively steer.
These flowers seem to wither
looking from thither
they appear fighting with factors other
braving the heat and weather
A lively game that brings mirth
When it is put forth
to the people in front
spreading across without brunt.
It illuminates the players with a shine
making the face glow in a fine.
They pass on the mirth down the line
All those who participate gather in a bind.
The game consists of passing radiance
It circulates cheer not with preference.
It is a play of great happiness
where there is enlivening gracefulness.
Up over there is a tiny star
twinkling in the darkness drear.
It radiates lovely cheer.
It seems to call from afar
while the message is heard near
indicating an apprehension queer.
It looks as though it talks to someone dear
who listens in rapt attention with open ear.
The little star tells him not to fear.
Saying so the star get backs to the rear.
A gentleman comes out stately with a smile.
He wins everyone with a charming smile
He speaks in a measured tone.
He interacts in a subdued tone.
Helping out with open hands is his way of life.
Lending a hand to the needy is part of his life.
He assists those in dire straits for no return.
His good thought enforces a frequent return.
He gets deep into their crisis for no gain.
He gives them solace which is their gain.
His face is like a beautiful flower.
It exudes warmth and cheer as if one sees a flower.
His face reflects an extraordinary brilliance.
Well, it is the overwhelming friendliness found in exuberance.
