The Little White Flower

The little white flower

tiny and pure in colour

fragrant in odour

grown in my garden

the flowers are densely laden

buds innumerable  in a bound

know not which abound

the leaf all green and shiny

dwarfed by the  flower’s beauty

seem to be sullen and quiet

the buds shoot out in a cluster

illumine the environ with a luster

an aroma spreads all over

makes one to step out and hover

a breathe in and out could favour

the lungs with a great ease

while the nose inhales the fresh lease

the rejuvenation of the system is on the go

a pleasure  of a magnitude  to all around

a treasure of great dimension to the surround

the tiny flower known as Jasmine to the world

better known as “Madurai Malli” in Tamil words.

Elegy For White Sugar.

The white sugar goes awry

it is too sugary

refined  with chemicals

possesses most radicals

injurious  in the run

best to shun

it decreases good cholesterol

increases diabetics and stroke in allwhite sugar

go back to the old timer

one of jaggery  as a primer

else less refined one

brown in tone

organic in all respects

proposes a term best

that be the value to old

a return is an attempt bold

savoury and lovely

protective  and less risky

a straight about turn is prudence

the research behind it is a relevance.

Not The Colour.

The colour white has a pride

while black is a deride

this be found in the race

the whites have the prominent place

the blacks are  shown  the back seat

with that the whites  are upbeat

with a thought they are superior

walk with their  eyes on the sky

never do they bend even try

cast a scorn on other colours

includes yellow, brown  together

they condemn the black

and keep them out of track

snort at the other coloured

in a sort of a vision blurred

refuse to see the reality

with a high-handedness  in totality

that be their rule and reason always

mostly they degrade others in  every way.

I expect a tirade against me in a short while

as my friends  would not approve my style

not that of the writing as it is obviously correct

but that of my thoughts  in a direct.white privilege

The Kaleidoscope.

With the colours getting into the thoughts

qualifying the emotions  as taught

with white denoting purity

and a kindness that emulates directly

goes the black that brings in a morbidity

well black also has another quality

with black clouds  flaunting rain

comes in blue without much strain

where the sky encompasses a bluish hue

along with the kaleidoscope extensive sea to take the cue

followed by the beautiful rose

that denotes the Queen of flowers  in a source

representing cheerfulness and spirit kindred

last comes the bright radiant red

extolling the brightness with an alert

indicating a danger  lying in front

pursuing the bloody trials in a row

with a burning  in an embittering grow

The colours get into our lifestyle

creating an interesting file

making over with a golden hue

reclining in  an enchantment true.
