A Heap out There.

A fastidious bowl over,

An incongruous  show along,

A grotesque feel all over,

As I saw a heap lying along.

It was not a pile of waste ,

Nor a wholesome trash,

It was not  a  dusty paste,

Nor a gruesome  crash.

It was a  plastic heap,

Lying unmoved for years,

Bags ,bottles buried deep,

Moving earth to tears.

It is there steadfast,

Emanating a stench so foul,

People go ahead fast,

Twitching their noses with a growl.

It causes affliction,

As it lives persistent,

It incites a perpetuation,

As its extinction  is resistant.

It gulps the earth,

In a swift gobble,

It harms the earth ,

To a shaky wobble.

Insecurity finds place,

Fertility of the soil is at stake,

Health is in a disastrous phase,

Man encounters a real crisis not fake.

Live Now

Life is to live well,

With cheer and peace,

Driving hatred in a fleece,

Interacting with an ease,

Oh ! Do we have  more to tell?

Life is to earn  ,

With hard work  and perseverance,

Amass wealth never  at other’s grievance,

Make  money with due diligence,

Oh! Is it   the only yearn?

Life is to be happy,

Cherish every  minute with a proper outfit,

Enjoy each experience in a true befit,

Chase  melancholy  as it is a culprit,

Oh! Is it not  a little crappy?

Life is to save,

Preserve health with care

Never seek wealth with a glare,

Hold on to the present bare,

Oh! Is there anything more to rave?

Life is  for the present,

It is not for the future,

Live well today in rapture,

Live dignified now with nomenclature,

Oh! Can’t you see yonder  light flourescent?

Life is for only  once,

A mad rush for money is indecent,

A struggle for largess is least complacent,

Losing health in the milieu becomes permanent,

Oh! tell me,  is it not a bad bounce?

Living Again

It was a near death,

It was an accident,

While blood gushed out in torrence

Bones ripped off into pieces,

He was dying.

Passers went to and fro,

As he lay uncared on the road,

At last a man ,a man ,really

Took him  to the hospital,

Remained  unnoticed until he revived..

It was a fresh lease of life,

It was like living again,

Needless to say he thanked the man,

The good man remains unknown,

His deed will talk about him.

Fractions And Decimals

Looking around   the class  room,

A little one sees signs and letters,

The sight sends her to a state of gloom,

As  if they hold her in tethers.

She loves to see little flowers,

Likes to hear lovely rhymes

Wants to play  out of the towers,

Longs to dance  to the chimes.

The call  of numbers make her tired

The fractions keep her  morose,

The intricacies leave her  on board ,

As she has to slog overdose.

The decimals confuse her still,

As she misses to place them  in the right digit

Solving problems break her will,

So she withdraws in a frigid.

This preliminary skill elicits a technique,

To solve not only mathematics,

Also to cross check the life’s  streak,

In a sequential  geometric.

The little girl will  master slowly,

The fractions and decimals  in a spree,

As she grows up ideally,

To grab the intensity in a glee.

It Should Pass

A day with lovely events has to pass,

As it gets dark,

The light sinks,

Night  descends.

The day passes.

A year with turbulence will pass,

As it sees outbreaks,

Of riots and diseases,

Political feuds  and economic recession,

The year passes.

A generation of people would pass,.

After experiencing hardships,

In personal and career,

In finance and life,

The generation passes.

Everything which has life has to pass,

It is an evolution,

It is a regeneration,

It is wisdom,

To allow all things to pass.

A civilisation has passed,,

After encountering ups and downs,

Through invasion and attacks,

Through years and centuries,

The civilization passes.

Life Is A Tale

Life is a tale of significance to  people like me,

Life is a tale told by an idiot to Shakespeare,

Life  has   both .

It has meaning,

It has idiocy,

Sense overtakes the senseless,

Brutes overpower the refined.

None the less hard to predict,

None the less easy to access,

Life flows like a river,

Gets stagnated at one level,

Over laps the marsh in speed,

Crosses the obstacle in gentle movement,

Struggles to attain the target,

Negotiates through the loopholes,

Finally reaches the goal.

What do you feel about life?

 Do you agree with me?

Or do you  go by the word of the bard?

The Echo of Life

Going into the deep woods one day,

Found a profound serenity in the lay,

The silence reflected a stirring tense,

Keeping the solitude in  presence,

To call out or not was the play,

Which kept on haunting all the fray.

It was an abysmal  deal out,

Crossing the inroads  was a fall out,

Yet moved in measured steps to the intense,

To find out the  mystery in  its substance,

Enacted with  a charming  relevance.

The song of the woods was a delight,

Composed of a music  of the elite,

Comprehensive of the cackling  and hooting,

Conducive to the mood insinuating ,

Instilling a refreshment warming.

Birds tweet with a gay sound,

Which reverberates  all around,

The blowing of the winds in a whistle,

Comes back  through the dangling thistle,

Inviting all to a sanguine bristle.

The humming of the river is a tune,

Which in the course of its flow attune ,

The thunder and the storm cast a spell,

Which echoes in a vociferous bell

Provoking   the area to a numbed  shell

Life gives back in  leaps and bounds .

What it takes from you  without a sound,

The more you sow seeds of  kindness

The more it repays in  kindness,

Consisting  great and gracious kindness

Life Into Death.

Discerning  through the affidavits of life,

Tracking  the systems of strife,

Delving into the intricacies of attitude,

Wading through the shores of ingratitude,

A portrait  unfolds.

Sailing across the sea of humanity ,

Riding over a bridge of incongruity,

Driving  through an undulating  land

Flying over a fathomless  ocean grand,

A picture  opens.

Lying  on a sandy  beach  with tides flowing high

Dreaming  about a castle  in the sky,

Intoxicated by the pleasures abstract,

The excitement descends intact,

An ecstasy unravels.

Listening to a  chaste melody,

Losing oneself in its rhapsody,

Smiling with carefree thought,

Swinging along a beautiful slot,

A beauty   endows.

The eye wanders  with a  predicament

Till it catches a glimpse of  a  rudiment,

The heart roams with an estimate,

Till it romps on a  soul affectionate,

A  grace bestows.

The mind gathers no wool,

As it gets  attuned to the blissful,

The soul travels with no fringes,

As the body lies without any twinges,

Death  slowly descends..

Journeying Through

The prism of life does exhibit a galore,

Recalling the events of the past,

Refreshing the incidents of the present,

Forecasting the happenings of the future.

All in a picturesque tableau.

Browsing through the exhibits,

Which reflect the  experiences ,

Which talk about the activities,

Which predict the upcoming,

All in a gorgeous panorama.

A symbolic presentation is staged,

Signifying the  cross sections of life,

Exposing the network of society,

Impressing the designs of  strife,

Rehearsing the trends of  survival

 Finally enabling a journey through.

A Day Out

A day out of my house has become an eventful experience for me.

Decking up in a the best attire,I made my way first to a wedding.

The muhurat was almost over.

I met a few of my friends and relatives, and went to the dining hall to have my lunch.

The menu was simple and excellent .I had a swift partake.

Then bade farewell to the host and left to  enquire the birth of a child in another relative’s house.

There was an array of sweets and chocolates and a juice was extended.

I engaged myself in a pleasant talk.Leaving my relative’s house, I peeped into another elderly relative’s house.

The elderly couple were relaxing ,while I entered.

I expressed my concern over their health, as the aged relative had a bout of sudden illness in the form of gastritis.

They wer happy to see me.

They offered me tea and snacks.

Then,as I was about to get into my car, met a friend of my mother in-law.

She ,at 75 was proceeding to one of her friend who was ailing.

She called me into her house.

She ,being a good conversationalist, talked in detail about the events in my native town.

The interesting presentation detained me in her house for nearly an hour and half.

Finally ,came home at dusk, dead tired and exhausted.

Had a shower and after dinner ,got to sleep.

The day was fully loaded.

The refreshing trend of seeing people and attending weddings made me deliberate for a while.

At times I become philosophical.

I ,while recollecting the chain of events, was able to choreograph the life in all its grandeur and serenity.
