The Hunger For Food.

little girlThe eyes speak volumes
They are tiny little ones sparkling
with sadness and a feel.
The blue eyes, see the blue skies above
and the green landscape around
with people moving in a busy thorough fare,
seeking a morsel of bread
as the child with such lovely eyes.
had gone without food for the past day

Not wanting to beg
but is forced to seek alms
the child hesitantly puts her arms forward
then pulls it back
The pride still lurks
and still irks
placing the child in a dilemma
in a post far from approval.

The hunger is so killing
making her suffer
The child being orphaned at young age
keeps loitering in the streets
uncared for years together
unfed for days together.
Helpless people move forward
giving her what they could.

The girl if taken care
would turn out to be an asset
as one could see a potential
and a greatness in her
If left wandering in the streets
the girl would not only lose
but the community also would
feel guilty as a partcipant in the deprive.

The School Days,

Growing up with the years
becoming a girl with cheers
life moved on without any tears
getting into school as be the trend
holding mama’s saree end
sitting aloof from the girls
who call me to play
But with a sad face and a sob
I refuse to take them
Few days go by as I stay in the block
with an unfriendly move and restricted talk
Then gradually got into the stream
as days become months
Becoming a popular girl with a beam
with qualities of leadership latent till now
rose to lead the school with a glow
elected as a school pupil leader with great majority
Many unknown faces turned familiar
while extending a warm cordiality to all
resorted to helping them if they met with a fall
both academically and financially without a call
It was a change metamorphic shy unfriendly girl transformed
and reaches the highest level in a space of a decade.Schoolgrads12_andrews_pic
Those days keep ringing in memory now and then
hard to claim them once again.

A Cry and After.

Hop hop went the little girl
Top top went she in her style.
Flop flop she fell down miserably
crying with a ha and a ho
she brought the roof down
with a loud cry and a wail.art-crying-cute-drawing-girl-hair-Favim.com-72522

My Little Girl

My little girl went for swimming
getting up early in the morning.
The water was pretty cold
but she entered into it quite bold
The instructor was demonstrating the strokes
Two other children were following in spokes.
My little one paid no heed to it at all
and refused to listen to her teacher’s call.
The instructor asked her to get to the lessons.
but my girl took the watering can without any reason.
While the teacher was busy teaching the other three
she poured the water on the teacher’s head with glee..
Surprised and shocked the instructor pulled my girl
and dumped her into the water twice in a whirl.
My little one came out withoutswim-lesson-party-3 a tear in her eyes.
i have to tell her to be polite and nice.

Inimitable She Is.

To the point
not less or more
a moderation
in behaviour and
of wants going about
in a strategic move
answers only
when she knows
that too in-depth
mild in voice
but determined
in thought
gets along with all
in an easy progress
an inimitable character
even at the tender age
imagine what would
she be as she grows
into a grand lady.

Humor At Large.

The girl in pink
wrote a letter in ink
asking her friends to think
not to merely blink.

Her friends failed to do
as they were a lazy duo
could not think in a flow
but gave each other blows.

The girl felt dull
as she could not pull
her friends from the null
as they flopped full and full.

She let them go
to a place of snow
where the standard is below
so that they could learn slow.

Mothers Stand Aside Please.

stock-photo-14462369-mother-scolding-her-daughter
Jumping and hopping in the garden
the little girl spent her evening
much to the displeasure of her mother.

The girl was good in schoolwork
well equipped in science and maths
excelled in all subjects with distinction.

Yet the mother wanted her to do more.
wishing her daughter to clinch the honour
in an inimitable manner setting a record.

The over enthusiasm of the mother
looked awkward at times turning it into
green greed restricting the child’s pleasures.

The girl with her sweet temper drew a line
between her mother’s ambition and her own outlets
and did extraordinary in her academics in the year-end.

Delighted the mother made a great fuss
unaware of how her daughter made both ends meet.
telling everyone as how she encouraged the girl.

Mothers, please stand aside and watch your ward advance.
let not you impose your wishes on them autocratly
remember childhood crosses only once in life.

A Poor Girl Yonder.

Tossing in the bed she lies.

Wrinkling her brows she cries.

Twisting her nose she tries.

Biting her lips she controls.

Up she gets  out of her bed.

Over her eyes look red.

Above she knocks her forehead.

High  she stumbles ahead.

In she walks along the aisle.

Into she  stutters over the trail.

Inside she breaks like a frail.

Inward she flutters as a gale.

Out she rushes out of the gate.

Outside she maintains her gait.

She attains the status of a feature.

She achieves a celebrity in structure

She embarks as a classical  figure.

Oh! she is nothing more than a poor creature

Brooding Over.

She was brooding over the happenings.

She was recollecting the trappings.

Her memory took her long back.

Reminding her of the days in a track.

Once she was a golden girl.

She moved along with lovely frills.

She hummed in musical shrill.

Everyone danced to her drills.

She grew up to become a lovely lady fair

She commanded respect in all the flair.

Gliding through the tracks in a rare,

she evoked a shining glare.

The  curtains are falling down.

Her demeanour has become a frown.

Her appearance has lost its glamour.

She withdraws herself into her chamber.

She has to come out of her past.

Eventually accept the present.

Go about with the tide in glory.

That is how we have to end the story.

Two Men On The Road.

Heard a shriek across the road,

A girl was knocked down by a car,

The driver dashed her down,

Then sped like a whirlwind.

The girl lay in a pool of blood.

Moaning in pain with half closed eyes.

A stranger made way through the crowd,

Lifted the half dead girl to his vehicle,

Off he went to the hospital,

She was saved in a few hours .

A man like the first lives in this world.

Another man like the second lives too.
