The power to hold  the attention

lies, not in your tension

it is in your intention

a mix of both capacity and brilliance

that makes you command reverence.

Another way to catch the crowd

that does not make you proud

by the way of exhibits too many

the ignorance camouflaged  in gimmicks

when ripped there lies the dirty tricks.

Famous is one way to understand

that of being reputable in a stand

Notorious is another way to comprehend

ill gotten mostly with deceit and stupidity

The morning breaks so fast 

while the evening folds so late

that be the day in cast

as the hours pass in a rate

with the morn opening up with the darkness

and the night closing down with the brightness

it is absolutely man-made

not to blame on Nature as such

it plays the role perfect and ready made

Man sets his clock ahead for reasons known clock

might be also unknown to most

as the governance takes the upper hand

and thinks it is above all very invincible.

Honour English!


English, a language

spoken in a stage

with the British accent

and the American diction

all confuse the Asians

who go by the British spellings

write colour with a “u ”

while the Americans omit the “u ”

the realisation  could have

both “s” and “z” in U.K

while the Americans go with only “z.”

there  be not only these

hundreds of differences

come with a force  and aplomb

Yet the rolling of the tongue

and the emphasis on certain letters

give  English a universal fervour

again the culprit “u” crosses

that way the language goes about

grows not less but more

with the acceptance of all words

from all  languages  across the world

a collection of words all through

making it the most populous one

Oh! let us acclaim English

Let us salute the language

give a big boo to it,”boo,salute”

. with a veneration and honour.

It is a sty

on the eyelids high

 makes one cry

burps and bursts in a try

Nature and love

flowers and birds

are often sung by poets

being the most emotional

is  a love of man and woman

with a joy and pain

along with competition

all sung by the poet

either in rhyme or free verse

absolutely emotion-laden

calling the   flowers that bloom

and the birds that cry lovelorn

sketching out a picture frame

with words impregnate with  lust

that do embarrass the sensitive

set a mood of pining and longinglove

insinuates and induces the same feel

well, that could be a perspective

and a theme of great enjoyment

which most love to read and experience

though not literally in a way

as the love is the pet concept of all posts

I am sensitive

to those around

slowly as the hurt heals

I make my entry slowly

never  turn across

not a talk all through

As huge as an elephant

as ferocious as the lion

as swift as the tiger

as stealthy as the cat

as faithful as the dog

as soft as the cow

as fast as the horse

as foolish as the donkey

as mischievous as the monkey

as with and as all

the animals come on a call

equate we the qualities of man

with the characteristics of the animals

that have the one vital one

while man has many qualifications

a mixture of all in one

mostly they are chemical compounds

Well, man is an animal too

with a power of reason

The Real Enrichment.


Happen to see in temples

happen to see them these days

happen to see them in quick succession

with piradosham, pournami and Thaipoosam

the gallons of milk  and curd

litres of honey and cane juice

pounds of abishekam rice and turmeric powders

all poured on the Deities

the overflow of these goes  out

through the drains in full flow

a measure to please the Lord

a method to appease Him

a follow up of devotion  in another form

the breaking of hundred thousand coconuts

all they say is an obeisance  to the Lord

all through the days of a genre  called auspicious ones

an illustration of their  piety enumerated in these rituals

a fervour fanatic and exaggerated  to the maximum

not I dissuade any from their beliefs

but  at the same time others  perceive

hundreds  of thousand children are without food

roam the streets begging  with salutations

and they sleep on the pavements

through rain and sun without shelter

could they be given a thought a little

the Gods would not resent or reprimand

best they would smile happily in their sanctum

feeling joyful as their children have found food.

This could be the real enrichment and exaltation

It is a little daisy

Which makes me crazy

She beckons me to come near

I talk to her in a voice clear

Come to me, you little one

We both together would have fun

I would hold you to my bosom

You look pretty awesome.

You make me go frenzy

My heart goes dizzy

Your tender petals are so soft

I want to carry you aloft.

Oh! The beautiful Daisy over there

You seem to be without care

Come to me as soon as you can

I wish to fondle you as much as I can.
