what you want to
never to earn
that be my wish
as I like to
study in one such one
know it is too late
still want to very much
go to a school as one
does not pulls into the gate
find none of such
a kind I wish to see
as it would turn a bliss
become an ecstasy
make every child not to flee
but hop into with a glee .
Lying on a soft bed
with a softer pillow
she was dreaming
something of red
with a halo
came across jumping
she lay still for long
did not move in fear
she wanted to catch
the one danced along
she wished to tear
intended to scratch
the thing eluded her grasp
as it moved in hop and stop
the redness intensified
she held her hands in a clasp
she fell down in a flop
she was mystified
being one of a dream
she woke up with a steam
looked around with a beam
ending the nightmare.

Being a tremendous passion
does not have a reason
never goes by season
that of not a timely fusion
being one of grace
does bode a trace
remains with a daze
never is unfazed
be that one of a chase
lets out a blaze
a pass
ion for writing
It is fun to see people
say they with a frown
not being treated at par
nor been greeted with love
the fault lies in them almost
forget they with a convenience
grumble and mumble all the more
pull their face long like a fiddle
talk not in a pleasant tone
scorn and condemn the doer
silly accusations abound
with that the cordiality snaps
arises a difficult relationship
being none other than inflated ego
has been part of the world from long ago.
It is a day of calls
kept me in a mood false
had to put up with all
I talked in a pleasant voice
as I had no other choice
tolerance became impossible
as many calls were not plausible
yet I was sweet and silent
unable to contain my patience
I switched off my gadget dumb
cursing myself for being a doll dumb.
It is a stage
not the virtual
that one of an abstract
a situation rather
one has to plunge
headway with a boldness
reach the bottom
decipher the consequences
resolve the issue
that has now come unknowingly
a right move is essential
bids no looking back
a positive track is on the verge
could be the stage as seen now.
The pain in the body
the pain in the mind
the pain felt whatsoever
could be an abstract feel
a forget of the pain all the more
engaging in deals furthermore
would assuage the hurt
thinking else would mitigate
both the physical and the mental
like a write, a read, a calculation
a browse and a conversation
let that be the way to lessen
rather than the medical subjugation
bring in more misery than anything.
Woman’s Day a day being special
being a woman in all entirely
brought up with care special
doted by all elaborately
being kept in absolute security
that being of an Indian special
the way a girl is brought up invariably
with the mother’s eyes being watchful
the day starts with a strict monitor
skirts and high necked blouses covering full
a tight plait dangling in a loiter
jasmine or pitchi strung together
adorns the plait altogether.
Education being very exclusive
schools selected with care
colleges chosen with a derivative
girls lead a protected life without any share
the world around seems alien to most
it being a regular outing as nothing remarkable
the drive to school and back almost
nothing other than that was possible
the girls worked hard and in earnest
studied with an inclination to excel
many turned highly learned
a good take as being in different levels
the empowerment of woman has come with a gusto.
The Woman’s Day a distraction in this part
many know not what it is all about
being a celebration of the West
Indian ladies go about undisturbed
the awakening is only very recent
wishes come forth from not too many
same could be said of the other days
the Father’s Day, the Mother’s Day
lastly the Valentines Day
all rush in with a strong voice
the Indian community stands aghast
they who know about the festivals and rituals
think not of all these days as special
being on the whole sober to the core.
Out in the air
crawls the bear
with no fear
comes from the rear
grunts and mumbles
leaves without a fumble
knew not where to go
walks a little slow
turns this way and that way
sees the sun’s rays
thence the people around
retreats jungle bound
The way to tackle are too many
Not being crtical as any
Being smart is not funny
Get ahead with a strive
Would be able to click five
Go along with a drive
Would be great enough to resolve
Likely to ensure a dissolve
A sure procedure to absolve.
