Intention To Help

An intention to help

a thought of kindness

could be misconstrued

as an indulgence uncalled

leaving the good heart

disillusioned and disappointed .

Go with an open hand

with an equally open heart

say the wise and experienced

easy to say than be done

sanguine be the face

yet the heart bleeds.

Kindness when  misunderstood

makes  one wary  and cautious

there goes the saying in Tamil

“பாத்திரம்  அறிந்து பிச்சைப் போடு”

know the situation and render help

an apt adage for philanthropy Good_Intentions_by_Scruggs

Merry Christmas

Come every year the Christmas
a festival of candles
honouring the birth of Christ
a gesture in a way very amazing and sprite
a significance with all merits
that be not only a birthday of the Lord
but be a recapture of his faith and brand
a renewal of his teachings
a virtual celebration as it looks now
being a convenient escapism from the cult
Christianity preaches love and kindness
mercy and sympathy carry the impetus
violence and hatred never in the syllabus
tells us to embrace every soul with a lovely smile
that takes us with a distinction across the miles
Do we see such kindred spirit as of now?
Have to hunt for such souls through the brow.
That again is an exercise to no avail
Setting aside the mission for a while
Wishing all a Merry Christmas
and a Happy Nnew-merry-christmas-quotes lovers 2013ew Year.

The Beauty

Her face has a distinct form

not like a pear  in the norm

an oval shape in perfect form

  two big eyes well placed

with expressions not dazed

a kindness pops out unfazed

 a nose of mighty sharp

nothing that of a prop

 long and aquiline on top

the lips so thin and  curved

look they like a painted nerve

has a chin effective and pleasant

not long or pointed in a pretend

the cheeks did glow with a pink

a robust  cheer to espy in a wink

that be the girl I saw on my way

a beauty that took me by sway.

Her Reward

Great be her kindness
going in an outflow
that becomes overwhelming
with an act of mercy
that being one of great rendition
covering the whole extension
holding two tiny fingers
lifting them up with cheer
whose cheeks look dry
with the eyes expressing no life
and body with protruding bones
embracing him with love
she takes the child home
knowing noimages (36)t whose child he be
nurses him with all care
feed him and bathes him
with the days going by
he becomes a robust child
healthy and cheerful
Well, that be her reward
better than any recognition
national or international.

Kindness is grace.

kindnessA smiling nod is a pleasant recognition.
A loving word is a significant appreciation.
A noble thought is a pensive extension.
A supporting act is a remarkable application.
Going out with all these is a relevant attribution.
These should come out effortlessly on all occasions.
These are not practised but are spontaneous distributions.
Spurting out like a natural phenomenon spurning afflictions
Without any formalities to hold on to them is a rigorous configuration.
The nod rightfully calls for a friendly admiration.
The word strongly insists on a personal communications.
The thought staunchly instills a deserving contribution.
While the act succinctly incorporates a valid construction.
The realm of kindness is vast and contains grace in all its perpetuation.

Religions Speak.

in the name of religionReligions guide us through life.
Living upright is the way of life.
Speak not lies is all religion’s call.
Help the needy is their essential call.
Believe in truth is their underlying principle.
Never belie trust is every religion’s gospel.
Kind words and acts they advocate bring in harmony and peace.
Radiating cheer and happiness they prove demand no fees.
Humility and respect they insist command progression.
Authority and audacity they point out lead to destruction.
That being the basis of all religions at large.
Wherein breaks violence and unrest in a gorge?
Destroying the human race in gross.
Would people ever try to rectify the flaws?

The Other Side

Beyond the walls lies the other side

Mostly  the pastures are green on the other side,

The numerical coins have two sides,

They do expose a head and a tail,

Man has a single face,

 But he shows different countenance,

 He smiles at one,

Scorns the  other,

He looks  up with admiration across,

Also turns away  with contempt all over,

 His eyes  reveal kindness,

They emit evil too,

 His face reflects the mind,

It also refracts the heart,

His  heart sings,

It also cries,

His  mind discerns,

It also swings,

The other side is gorgeous  more so

When it depicts a liking,

It is disastrous most often

When it creates a dislike,

The other side in most  attributes is constant,

Lo! the other side in man is variant.

So goes the Poet’s thought,

Exploring the  thresholds of the human.
