Took an umbrella and went out.
Hoping the rain would come out.
But no rain came out.
A strong wind blew .
Away my umbrella flew.
I looked for it without any clue
The auto gate stopped working.
Pressing the remote with force
tried the best to induce moving.
Lo! it creaked hoarse.
It remained stubbornly stuck.
It was late in the night.
Shook the gate with a pluck.
It remained fastidiously tight.
Afraid to stand alone in the lane.
as there started thunder and lightning.
Lost patience and soon became insane
Heavy torrential rain started pouring.
Fully drenched I kicked the gate.
It was as adamant as a mule.
Cursing badly the fate
Got hold of a rusty tool.
With the tool lifted the railings from below.
Dried grass and leaves lay settled there.
Pulled the coarse stuff from the hollow.
It gave a clearance without a snare.
Drying my hand with a tissue.
Wiping the water from the face
expecting no probable issue
pressed the remote in phases.
Slowly the jam got released.
The gate moved with hiccups.
I was immensely pleased
as the gate went through a lap up.
Man and woman unite in amour.
They start the family with glamour.
With love they live together
to raise a family in good weather.
In the early years of intimacy the family enlarges.
The entry of the child gives the parents the charge
of becoming responsible and duty bound.
No more of playful tussles in the round.
The toned down parents take up the challenge.
as bringing up a child is a difficult manage
much different from the earlier engage
filling in with tasks and schedules in a range.
In no time the family grows with another child.
The accustomed household adjusts to the new find.
Children reach the teen age in the course of time
With that a careful watch also comes in with a chime.
It goes without saying that family is the biggest corporate.
Any one deviation would bring in an expensive degenerate.
The unit has to be held intact without a single break.
Otherwise there would be an alarming outbreak.
It was long long ago.
More than hundred years ago.
There lived a man called Hugo.
Hugo had lot of children.
He had a beautiful garden
where the family had lot of fun.
As the children were too many
he could not remember the names of any.
To call them he made gestures funny.
Children gave him no trouble.
The family progressed without a stumble.
Hugo became old and tumbled
Folding the hands he prays to God.
Kneeling down he bows to God.
Chanting mantras he invokes God.
and gradually merges with God
He goes round the shrine.
He goes on till he completes nine.
He prostrates before God in line.
and slowly diffuses
into the environ fine.
This has been his routine for years.
Praying, he feels, dispels fear.
He thinks God has come near.
and ecstatically revels in cheer.
Is this piety steadfast and real?
A question that demands a trial.
It would be so when things are ideal.
It would be not so in the face of an ordeal.
The presumptions are track proven.
Fortunes take him to haven.
Distress makes him a raven.
Peace be with you. Amen!
Two little girls collected the coconuts from their farm.
Putting them in baskets they set up a shop.
The shop aligned itself to the wayside form.
Both of them took their chair in a hop.
The older one adjusting her glasses looked around.
Seeing no prospective buyers in the vicinity.
She thought of many strategies totally sound.
She and her cousin went over and over the schemes
in entity.
In a short while they came up with a proposal.
The six-year-old displayed a big board
which read “buy two one free for quick disposal”.
Then on there was a rapid flow of people from the road.
The coconuts were bought in great speed.
The girls made very good money.
The transactions showed no greed
as they were handled by ones tiny.
The older one kept the money safely in a box.
The younger one diligently counted the unsold.
The shop of the little ones became the town’s talk
The enterprising spirit of the girls gradually unfolds.
.

It is hot extremely hot.
The mercury rises to a spot.
Making one reel in the slot.
The humidity is too much.
The earth is burning as such.
The day is exerting a crunch.
It is difficult and tiring.
It leads to a voluminous perspiring.
Almost taking the spirit out to a vanquishing.
The mercury rises as the day advances.
The hot sun exhibits a fiery relevance.
Confining everyone to a scorching sequence.
It is a disastrous day altogether.
Afflicting the mind and body together.
Causing an inconvenience to every other.

Monkeys went up and down the tree
breaking its branches in a spree.
They pulled the fruits down in glee
sharing with the little ones in a moo free.
Chattering they jumped down with a thud.
Moving sprightly over the mud
they caught hold of a stud
which held the electric cable in firm stead.
Stealthily they shook the cable
Slowly they brought it down to the table
snapped it with a bite terrible.
Lo! electrocution turned them into a fable..
