The World Shuts Down

It is only two days more.

The world would be no more.

So goes the talk all the more.

Sending signals of warning more and more.

Creating a terrible fear to the core.

Nothing is to be expected for sure.

Nothing would happen for sure.

So say all with a belief sure.

Dispelling the gravity with an assure.world is going to end

Assuaging the feelings with a grace ever.

Which almanac says so?

It is the Mayan calendar that tells so.

Would that be so?

Ask everyone with a sigh in a flow.

It is a definite no say the scientists with a glow.

Vacuum

It is a fastidious  vacuum.

It keeps one out of form.

It makes one dull in norm.

 It creates a violent storm.

 Inflicting  a terrible harm.

Causing a desolate charm.

The symptoms of Down.

Rituals keep us tied down.

Religion makes us bow down.

Commitments compel us to flow down.

Fear forces us to lie down.

Distress tracks us almost down.

Struggle combats with thrust down.

Survival is the only thought that blows down.

It Is Very Dear.

Call it cheers,

Call it hears,

Call it fierce,

Call it pierce,

Call it tears,

Call it fears,

Call it what you wish

Call it what you may,

It does not matter.

As it is very dear.

A Miss Out.

It was a miss out which cost dear.

It was a fall which caused a smear.

It was a slip of the tongue that prompted a jeer.

It was a mindless cut that brought a tear.

It was an anger that raised the ear.

It was a danger that caused a terrible fear.

It was a provocation that invited a sneer.

It was a curiosity that called for a look near.

It was a wonder that instigated a peer.

It was a transgression that was slotted for the rear.

Always the miss outs would cost anyone dear.

A Birthday Party.

It was a birthday party,

It looked like any other  party,

The child was the  main party,

She did not know about the party.

The child was a frail one year old,

She was in her mother’s hold,

Looking at all with a fear untold,

She felt cramped in the hubbub cold,

Poor child! she trembled in the fold.

The gathering was excited most,

Games were for them almost,

The couples danced  vibrantly to the toast,

Leaving a feeling of distaste utmost,

Oh! the poor child was ignored foremost.

The cake was cut with much fanfare,

Happy Birthday ranted high in the air.

The balloons were burst in the fare,

Raising a loud noise beyond the dare,

Oh! the poor child looked like a timid hare.

Was not the party for the child? I enquire,

Nay! it is for the adults, I hear,

Should not the children participate? I jeer,

Never! It is a boisterous revelry, very clear,

Oh! the  poor child started crying in fear.

Insecurity Acts.

It was a sudden outrage,

It was a burst of temper,

It was alarming, very alarming.

It was very spiteful,

It was wantonly done,

It was disgusting, very disgusting.

It was really intriguing,

It was actually disturbing,

It was painful, extremely painful.

After long deliberation,

Caught the theme,

It looked distressing, very distressing.

It was all due to insecurity,

It was because of untold fear,

It made me sad,very sad.

Insecurity invokes anger,

It also invites suspicion,

It  acts disproportionately.

The Child’s Cry

It is a feeble noise soft and shrill

It is something of a sob from afar,

It  evokes  a sensation of chill,

Keeping us in cold so far.

It is a cry of a child a little away,

The little one must be in unbearable pain,

It is an uneasiness which she cannot say,

She sheds tears like an incessant rain.

The mother could not calm her down,

She did what she could in full fast,

The child continued to cry in a drone,

Making everyone sad in aghast.

It went like that for a short duration,

The child then  gradually stopped wailing,

The mother fed her on and off without affectation,

The child then dozed off  in a smooth sailing.

The mother then breaks down uncontrollably,

Slides down the aisle suppressing her fears,

Holding the little one to her bosom closely,

She sings a lullaby brushing aside her tears.

He and She Put together.

He has  developed a stigma strong to out beat,

 Of getting disarranged and panicky,

By issuing quick commands and  hurried tweets,

Then  retreating to a  long soliloquy.

It  seems to be a motivation negative,

He walks up and down in a mood  restless,

Infuriating every others in terms derogative

Indulging himself  in a created chaos nevertheless.

It has been so, for forty long years,

Losing equanimity  at the sight of guests,

Proposing an uneasiness loaded with fears,

Twined  up to end looking for the best.

He,  has been, all along reposing no confidence on others,

Professes to carry a heavy responsibility  all alone,

Scrutinises in detail all from the covers,

But absolutely turns no stone.

Four decades of such precipitated movements,

Brings from the only onlooker a numbed reaction,

She goes about the way  with her own temperament,

Conducting the whole episode in a colourful  jubilation.

Economy Experience fall

Dwindle Dwindle

It is a scenario of dwindling,

Dwindle goes the economy,

Down goes the jobs,

Dwindle trips the gold,

Down trips the silver,

Dwindle falls the oil.

Down falls the gas,

Dwindle slips the Dollar,

Down slips the Euro.

So far to the materialistic.

A  scenario of dwindling furthermore.

Dwindle sinks the heart,

Down sinks the spirit,

Dwindle presses the pain,

Down presses the train,

Dwindle folds the fear,

Down folds the rear,

Dwindle  forces  a mishap,

Down  forces an entrap.

So much to the  expressionistic
