A Straight Road Ahead— An Allegory


straight roadA straight road is ahead.
There seems no turns in the stead.
It is a long stretch ahead
Yes, go straight to the stead.

The way takes you straight.
Exposing nothing in the trait.
It is nothing but straight.
Everything else reflects the trait.

It is monotonous travel right.
Going steady without a flight.
Believe it is a certainty right.
Moving forward without a fight.

Surely, you would reach the destination late.
Nothing to press an acceleration in the slate.
Struggling you achieve the nominations very late.
It is a gradual but slow realization on the slate.

Realizing you get straight to your end.
Crossing the sea of life without a bend.
That is how you have to live up to the end.
Straight in stature without a single bend.

A Passion On The Fore.


garland of deep rose.Passion takes the front seat with much pride.

Making all others slide back in a hide.

It tries to embrace all the sides

while standing up like a guide.

It forces one to strictly abide

by releasing an emotional  tide.

The writing patch renders a lovely glide

allowing a smooth ride.

 

The wordy expressions give a beautiful  insight

by decking the experiences into a garland  bright.

The  narrations  are sometimes light.

The explanations  most times reach a height.

The descriptions open out a picturesque sight.

The authenticity is never a question right.

The imagination ascends above in the wings of flight.

On the whole writing is a passion not to be taken slight.

The Kite’s Flight- Allegory


It was a high-flying kite.

It glimmered in the sun-bright.

Carrying the colours red, blue and white,

It rose up and up to great heights.

 

The children cried in delight.

They were thrilled at the sight.

The kite  enacted a great fight.

It rose up and up to great heights.

 

The cord that held it extended right.

It, in its elongation, got tight.

The kite faltered in its flight.

Yet, it rose up an up to great heights.

 

The cord knotted itself in a bite.

The knots closed up to a strangling plight.

The kite made a descent slight.

Alas! it fell down and down from great heights.

Man’s ascent has a tremendous insight.

He muscles and manipulates to reach atop alright.

His movement  gets mulled at a point outright.

He tumbles down  to the ground  like the falling kite.

Love Changes All


It is a   very long  travel all the more,

Very far from home,

Too much different from home,

Bound by love and affection all the more.

 

Living  under the same roof,  all the way

Is nevertheless a strife  all through the day,

Looking  at each other all the time

Is an awesome bother most of the time.

 

It has been the way of life shortly,

Flying tempers  break the monotony,

Shaking the basics  of harmony,

Finally seeking shelter in shelves solitary.

 

It was drive  clouded with hesitation,

It was a  long  flight across to the destination,

The tired mind encountered a warm reception,

Endowing a resourceful inspiration


It was  pure affection and love,

Emanating from  a son beloved,

Brought up as a  precious jewel  all above 

Stands exposed to the vagaries of time in the strove 

 

Nudging close to me he learnt alphabets,

Lying on my lap he counted numbers  to a test

Numeric got their value in their  best,

Letters put together rocked  in their  crest.

 

He grew  in my shadow,

Letters pushed the numbers below,

Writing overtook counting in the flow

Creating a “Man Of Letters” in a full glow.

 

His writing took its wings,

Away he flew from me 

To places far beyond the shores in swings

Bringing laurels to him and pride to me all the more.

 

Rising up in stature  he remains fair,

His nest got enlarged  in  the  fare,   

A dedicated wife to take care ,

A  quick-witted daughter to  share.

 

Enjoyed every moment   of my sojourn,

An unknown place became known,

A biting cold took a bearable tone ,

Well! Love  gets enthroned  in an exclusive zone.
