Mushroom Growth


Mushrooming everywhere the small plants grow.
They grew in such a density giving the area a green
The carpet like greenery was a look great
but the feel was something not great.
The thick mushrooming was a sign of distraction
a deviation from the normal progress of fauna and flora
a sign of decay and terrible trends unexpected.
The small plants were highly poisonous
and even a pinch of it would turn the danger
forecasting a serious aliment or even death.
A slight touch would surely bring about a rash
a gigantic rash that would cause a swelling
and a fever leading to hospitalization
more or less to the fatal point.
Some get back after peeping into the trap
but others less fortunate succumb to the venom.
A tragedy unfolds with an untold misery
bringing tears and sadness plants poisonouscopious.

I remember not great things
I remember small things
that pass out unnoticed
that gets out notsmall things. transcribed
not knocking anyone’s attention
passing out like the clouds
that bring no rain
as small things to believe
bring no effect good or bad.

malls.small shops.online shopping.

Shops big and small
shops on pavements
sell goods for a call
high and low.

The belief is so
that big shops
deal with quality in the go
selling branded ones.

The mind-set is so
that small shops
handle mediocre goods in a row
transacting unknown products.

There is one more belief
tha giant malls price
the goods high with no relief
and tax more.

With that goe well
the convincing thought that
small shops sell
for reasonable price.

I believe not these beliefs.
To me shopping is a skill
as to find the quality and tariff
altogether in one go.

Such discriminations
are frivolous and childish
as there are exhibitions
to select and choose.

Small shoppers have
personal touch while
high-end shopping markets enslave
bereft of this intimacy..

Shopping has become a relaxation
a mechanism and automatic
with the online introductions
getting everything at home.

Long ago it was literally
seeing, feeling
and buying virtually.
a lengthy process.

Later on it became’
seeing in hurry and
buying in hurry like a game
a quick procedure.

Now it is express speed
seeing through websites
placing orders online instead
receiving them at home.

There is a change
not in shopping alone
but in every sphere in a range
from medical to learning.

sea fightA fight is going on in the sea.
Over an issue as small as a bee.
The gun shots go out in a spree.
Making the less powerful to flee.
The winner sails across the sea.

Before he could rejoice he turns to see.
Lo! there arises another turmoil brewing up in the sea.

The Fly Flies


A small creature creates an irritation,

 brings in a bothersome distraction,

inflicts a rare delusion,

leaves a nagging sensation.

 

It goes round the eyes,

perches itself over the nose,

sits on the cheeks like a dice,

hovers over the mouth in quick tries.

 

Driving it away poses a strain

getting rid of it is a gain,

Now is the time to tell you the main,

it is the common fly in its deign

Sprucing Up


The garden was stocked with fallen leaves,

Gathering them up was a task in a fleece,

There was an uninterrupted fall from trees,

Leaves came down slowly after a gentle breeze.

 

Green and yellow leaves  lay scattered without a cease,

Twigs small and big landed down in the crease,

They made the garden look like a messy freeze,

Inadvertently it seemed an entertainment set to please.

 

Cleaning up was a target beyond reach,

Finding a team was a difficult breach,

The work had to be done with a screech,

As there was no time to impeach.

 

Like the dry leaves thoughts crowd

The mind quivers in a desperate shroud,

Sprucing it up seems to be a task loud,

Resuming equanimity is like a falling cloud. 

 

The imbalance strikes hard mercilessly,

Reviewing it generates apprehension enormously,

 Yet gardens could be swept and cleaned spotlessly,

 But the mind  withholds the trials though not erroneously.

Small ,smaller, smallest be your call.

 

Wealthy be those who make money ,

Wealthier be those who mint money,

Wealthiest be those who print money,

Wealthy , wealthier, wealthiest be  not your call.

 

Poor be those who  are reliable

Poorer be those who are honorable,

Poorest be those who are  impeccable,

Poor, poorer, poorest be your call.

 

Distinctions go by your extrinsic status

 Never  by your  intrinsic status,

Following is by your escalated status,

Never by your enhanced status.

 

Never be cowed down by deceit,

Never be  tamed down by illicit,

Ever  hold  pride as upbeat,

Ever hold  value as discreet.

 

Thus let your living  go,

Thus let  your practice go,

Thus let your life have a gentle flow,

Thus let you shine with a steady glow.

Through The Keyhole


It  was  a thorough  checking that took place,

It was a minute detailed  survey  conducted

 It  was a skilful surgery performed,

It was a lovely painting portrayed.


All the incongruities were laid bare, 

Every opinion was tabulated,

The  minute anomaly was removed,

Each small impression  became lively.


The scenario over a large canvas  is massive,

It attains a proportion   beyond all ratio,

The bewildering depiction stares and stares ,

Getting one into an uncomfortable throw.


The small presentation is a delicious magnificence,

Rendering an articulate  and fine attune,

The soft feathery touch lightens up the mind,

Accepting that small is beautiful.


Thoroughness overtakes vastness, I feel,

 Deep insight jumps over  broad outlook , I assume,

 Good turn  holds much more than  a philanthropic  deal,

A key hole is a window to the world than a wide door.
