Let me sleep
with no fear and anger
making sleep wonderful
Let me sleep
with a fulfillment and tranquillity.
making sleep eternal.
The house had a watch
an old man in his seventies
sat next to the gate
with a big stick
and a bigger iron rod
ready to attack with force
anyone who trespassed.
So he stood for an hour
then went round the house to monitor
came back and stood there
as before in a state ready
to charge the trespassers
all in one blow.
Standing for more than two hours
his tired legs gave way and he sank
on his stool stretching his legs.
As all things goes he felt sleepy
and before he could sit in comfort
his eyes closed firmly shunning the world.
A quarter of an hour later
the lady of the house came out
seeing the watch in deep slumber
opened her mouth to shout in anger
but his drooping figure with the stick
and rod in hand made her sad .
The next day she called the old man
who frightened to face the lady came trembling.
She looking kindly at him said with sympathy
that he could retire and be at home.
Reading his mind the lady said
his salary would be taken care off.

With a day drawing to a close.
Winding up everything in a chose.
Taking list of the activities in a pose.
Counting the dimes spent in a course.
while the eyes are enforcing a throes.
the mind goes on deliberating the pros
the cons get ahead in toes
weighing the inclusions in tens
considering the intrusions in a sense
adjusting the spectacle’s lens
browsed through the categories dense
selecting the best from them in all intense
briskly incorporated them without pretense
concluding the day’s work with impeccable sustenance.
at the stoke of midnight know not
sleep came from whence.
Eating nothing, drinking nothing
just lying down all day long.
Talking nothing thinking nothing
just closing the eyes all day long.
Going nowhere, getting nowhere
just relaxing all day long.
Meeting none, mingling with none
just down flat on bed all day long.
Would it take place? Would it happen?
just sleeping all day long.
If sleeping is busy
what else is not busy?asked my friend
Getting this thought in mind
wanted to obtain a find.
Sleep to me comes
when I know not.
I lie down in the morn
have a siesta in the noon.
take a nap at dusk.
sleep soundly in the night.
Work all day makes you busy I told him
Sweating and perspiring makes you dizzy.
Sleep all day makes me busy said I.
Refreshing and relaxing makes me shine.
Well that be my goal all through the days
and none need frown at me everyday.
Every legal case is different.
As it has no precedent.
It may differ in degree macro or micro.
It might have merit or demerit although.
Judgments are independent.
Not clasped by averment.
Justice has to uphold truth.
Not to downgrade truth.
Counsels have to study the case sheets deep.
Not act shoddily as though half asleep.
A sound knowledge of law is a must.
To fight the case when put to test.
Each case is a new edict.
Never rely on the previous verdict.
Each one has twist and turn.
Review it sincerely without a spurn.
Remember, the client is your King.
Never you could become a King.
He, who pays you is atop.
You, who receives should never flop.
Never try to override him.
If so, you are deceiving him.
He would strike you hard.
And bash you without any regard.
Rude gestures would run you out.
Impolite words would throw you out.
Arrogance would doom you forever.
Authority would shun you more so ever.
Insecurity in profession drags you perhaps,
Lack of confidence in your ability draws you perhaps,
A hurried escape might be your requirement perhaps.
An express exit from the situation might be your motive perhaps.
Desirous of earning more and more is your goal.
Greed has seized your complacency in a toll.
An attempt to betray the client is highly
contemptuous.
Surely, all lawyers, with no exception are perfidious
I hear in magnitude,
I see in-depth,
That is what I can do.
A child begins her day,
Setting aside everything gay,
Pushing back all her play,
Switching on to the rigorous fray.
She gets ready in a hurry,
Breaks her fast in a flurry,
Casting her likes in a bury,
She walks up in a slurry.
Still sleep lingers in her eyes,
As she opens her reader to a size,
Pouring over the book in a guise,
She follows the teacher with a despise.
From school she comes home,
Falls asleep in her cosy bedroom,
The little girl finds no time to bloom,
Eventually she has to face the doom.
Sleep is a slumber deeply refreshing .
Giving an energy firmly vitalizing,
Restoring a freshness greatly enlivening,
Sleep should we without dreams disturbing.
The mind consistently tracks back the events ,
Espying the hourly progressions sorted by relevance,
Spicing up the actions with fine effervescence,
Sleep gets immersed in thoughts convergence.
The closed eyelids go through a slide show,
Visualising the scene by scene throw,
Keeping an uncomfortable vigil although,
Sleep becomes a trial uncalled for.
The nagging mind sticks to no codes,
Conducting tirelessly a monotony of moods,
Provoking deliberately the resting abodes,
Sleep rapidly diffuses into a non entity.

The impulsive provocations settles comfortably,
Inclining towards a fractured existence personally,
Inducing an erratic concept of relaxation temporarily,
Sleep losing solace emerges as a destroyer.
The wake up alarm ringing early in the morn ,
Calling strains of cock a doodle doo at dawn,
Clattering vessels exploding across the oven,
Sleep tends to run headlong from the bed.
Out into the day the tidings take over,
Clinging to the schedules in a crazy hover,
Grasping the tenets of temper with a firm tug over,
Sleep gets exiled from the normal reservoir.
