has lost her liveliness
to the extraneous
in a sudden out break
of emotional upheaval
that has made her sullen
and sombre way beyond
any attribution of reason.
To bring her back to normal
miracles have to take place
that would restore her cheer
requiring a spontaneous backing
to revive her to her normal cheer
If these be put into force emphatically
she might turn around definitely
and regain her mirth and charisma
like a phoenix in the run . 
The vertically
opposite
never get well in life
but geometrically equal.
Like poles repel
unlike poles attract is what
Science teaches us
The voice was familiar
with a sweet intone rather
Could not make out the tone
who it was on the other phone.
The voice continued sweetly
putting forth queries succeeding
all familiar and known practically
still could not find out for sure
it lovingly conversed true
with affectionate words
careful not to reveal even in code
the name at any cost as told
My, otherwise cruel memory grossly
failed to recollect the voice
and its related invoice
In the height of the talk
the line went over a deadly walk
Oh! till last and final moment
could not identify the caller.
Would it be a prank ?
played to make me go blank
quipped I in a crank.
Looking aghast
at the violence
in a telecast 
withdrew with a sense
as the forecast
was of imminence
calling for a show cause
to a bunch of terrorists hiding
with arms and ammunition
giving time for a surrender failing
which they would be for treason
rounded off and shot.
With an oval face
and curly locks in a grace
eyes in blue glowing in amaze
nose sharp in grace
and aquiline in place
chin rounded in trace
and cheeks glowing ablaze
the little girl descended in a brace
walked past me in a glaze
smiling pleasantly in a gaze
winning all hearts in a daze
with a wave of ace
beauty and cheer in base
dying to know in haste
who she was in real
went across in speed
to catch her in stead
she vanished
like an apparition
no sooner than a second.
Living in a world
where people have
their own word
believing a cave
to be a gird
thinking a shave
to a bled
giving a pave
to a dead.
making one behave
in madness instead.
Win or defeat
does not matter
as it is not
going to pamper
any one’s dreams
to a shatter
Win is a flatter
making one believe
he is greater
than all in everything
in wealth and powerful nature.
Defeat is a stature
pushing one down
into a departure
away from life
to a discomfiture
By a win
you shine gloriously
By a defeat
you forfeit demurely
making a difference. 
The days of thugs are over.
They are found no more.
that is what I believed so far
That is not is so true.
Thugs of yester
years are not found
as they used to be long days sound
They have taken a guise varied in a round
too much simple and down to the ground.
Thugs of yore came in the dark night
covering with a black blanket
painting themselves black to look dark
stealthily moving in with a big wooden stick.
The modern thugs call themselves pick pockets
addressed by all as robbers and thieves who wear a locket
stylishly dressed like a corporate executive in colors light.
bright and neat working in the broad sunlight.
They operate in the crowded stations and loot
They get into the banks open the safe in suite
They then tap the ATM’s taking cash with credit cards
of someone whom they had earlier abetted by a fraud.
So goes the story of thugs with a continuation
where reforms have caused a transformation
with thousands growing progressively into millions
while the nights have gone out of fashion.
Opening the window in the morning
the frog jumped to wish ” Good Morning”
With the day’s work pending
I walked off briskly in a hurry 
wishing him no “Good Morning.”
Getting things in hectic speed.
The newspapers ready to read
the cooking on the verge of feed
bathing and dressing up in a lead
the thought of frog went without any need.
Packing things up in acceleration
locking all doors and windows with attention
closing the kitchen almost in tension
made way out in a sensation
met the little frog greeting with relation.
Getting to know little
we talk much.
Getting in hand very little
we spend much.
Getting to have learnt little
we speak much.
The very little we imbibe
in knowledge and learning
and possess as wealth
should induce us
to aspire for more and more
much has to be acquired.
