Mothers Stand Aside Please.

Jumping and hopping in the garden
the little girl spent her evening
much to the displeasure of her mother.

The girl was good in schoolwork
well equipped in science and maths
excelled in all subjects with distinction.

Yet the mother wanted her to do more.
wishing her daughter to clinch the honour
in an inimitable manner setting a record.

The over enthusiasm of the mother
looked awkward at times turning it into
green greed restricting the child’s pleasures.

The girl with her sweet temper drew a line
between her mother’s ambition and her own outlets
and did extraordinary in her academics in the year-end.

Delighted the mother made a great fuss
unaware of how her daughter made both ends meet.
telling everyone as how she encouraged the girl.

Mothers, please stand aside and watch your ward advance.
let not you impose your wishes on them autocratly
remember childhood crosses only once in life.

The Old Order Changeth


old orderGiving way to new things in a fest.
Giving chance to young at the best.
Giving place to new order in a test
So goes the world in a flow
as change brings in a result slow.

Leaving the old things behind.
Leaving the aged in the hind.
Leaving the old order away from the bind.
So goes the world in a flow
as old takes the back row.

Taking up enthusiasm as a cue.
Taking over by youth is true.
Taking in fresh air from the blue.
So goes the world in a flow
as novelty assumes a glow.

Brushing aside the experience as a yardstick.
Brushing aside the oldies as one with a walking stick.
Brushing aside the tested ideals like a prick.
So goes the world in a flow
as wisdom retreats with a bow.

Leaves grow from trees.
Trees come up from the soil
Soil picks up the minerals from depth
Making it a natural sequence.
Eliminating anything artificial.

Poetry is spontaneous.
Coming out in speed at the moment
Jumping out with force from the heart.
Correlating the events to the full
Enabling a read most pleasant.

Words emerge with ease.
Clothing the thoughts with grace.
The rhythm flows gently.
Adorning the tone with tunes lively.
Making it an experience most memorable.

Please Leave The Deities Alone.


Deities sparkle with diamond crowns.

The dazzling finds itself in all rounds.

The spectacular delight knows no bounds.

 

The galaxy of crowns and outfits win over.

The eyes of the devotees make a splendid rover.

Feeding on the exciting ostentation with a devour.

 

The golden and silver outfits are heavy.

Decking the deities with them is not easy.

They pressurize the idols  inflicting marks sticky.

 

Adorning the idols  causes damage to them.

Flowery  crowns and garlands charm them.

Dressing them with colourful silk adds grace to them.

 

The deities in their expensive dresses look different.

They appear as images with features indifferent.

The created shine robs the glow in the affront.

 

Well  the rich indulge in such dear fanaticism.

Showing to the world their wealthy enthusiasm.

They wantonly plunder the temples of their divine realism.

The Dimensions Of Half.


The conspiracy  hatched  is half way through.

The dealing is a  half-hearted attempt in view.

The discussion seems to be  half over without a clue.

The outcome is dead, half dead , true.

 

He enters the scene  with half a mind

He seems to be half awake not totally blind.

He looks half mad without a slightest bind.

He is partially  half dumbfounded  delivering nothing kind.

 

 

 

Half of anything looks good.

Half of anything appears  bad too.

Half of all things describes plenty.

Half of all things  depict a frugality  too

 

The price quoted is  only half the value.

  Proposing an arbitrary half pursue.

The fixation would bring half the revenue.

Recording  an unproductive reconciliation all through.

 

 

 

 

The lips curve half denoting a weary smile.

The eyes cast a half look expressing a guile.

The speech is half-baked exposing a frivolous pile.

The gait is half  strained illustrating a peevish style.

 

 The idea half usurps the feasibility most often.

The thought half pitches every now and then.

The outcome  half delineates an uneasiness in turn.

The plausibility of half directs an unsure  enthusiasm solemn.

Life Is To Give.


Life is to give out liberally.

It is not a reciprocal take strictly.

Live without any expectations nearly.

Life is beautiful with tremendous potentiality.

 

A child is a gift of God.

She has to grow up with a nod.

It is her life be it odd.

The way to live is her prod.

 

It is the parental duty to bring her up .

Affection and discipline make her reach high up.

Tending to her is an interesting close up.

No more should be expected than this one up.

 

Be that with your children more so.

The same holds good with your parents also.

It should be the principle in your life ever so.

Expecting nothing from anybody for whatever so.

 

Content is King goes the saying generally.

It is for a different context say you smilingly.

To me it is contentment that precedes  others normally.

It is a special enthusiasm that evolves gracefully.
