Sleep Over

Panic fills the mind,

Depression sets fine,

Disappointment is the new find,

What more is in line?

Squeaks the voice from the hind.

Many more are on the way,

Much more  would cross,

Wait for the eventual sway,

A prediction is there for a furthermore loss,

Warns the forecast of the day.

A sleep over is the trick at hand,

Let everything pass in a slow motion.

Watch the turmoil from a distant stand,

Show no rush to reach  the  destination,

Prompts the theory of a reputed brand.

Deferring the decisions to a period late,

Might look as a procrastination sure,

It is time required to seal the fate,

A reprieve needed to think and endure,

Confesses a solution provider in a voice great.

The Child’s Cry

It is a feeble noise soft and shrill

It is something of a sob from afar,

It  evokes  a sensation of chill,

Keeping us in cold so far.

It is a cry of a child a little away,

The little one must be in unbearable pain,

It is an uneasiness which she cannot say,

She sheds tears like an incessant rain.

The mother could not calm her down,

She did what she could in full fast,

The child continued to cry in a drone,

Making everyone sad in aghast.

It went like that for a short duration,

The child then  gradually stopped wailing,

The mother fed her on and off without affectation,

The child then dozed off  in a smooth sailing.

The mother then breaks down uncontrollably,

Slides down the aisle suppressing her fears,

Holding the little one to her bosom closely,

She sings a lullaby brushing aside her tears.

A Slit, A Stab, A Murder.

It is, a shock,a terrible shock.

It is ,a revelation,a shocking revelation,

It is, but a truth, a revealing truth,

It is hard to accept, truly hard.

Coming out of it was a nightmare, a terrific one

It is a rude  strike, an unnerving one,

It is an unbelievable episode, a stifling one,

It is hard to accept, truly hard.

What is  it so alarming?

It is a murder, gruesome murder,

A teacher was stabbed by a her ward,

He is a fierce and young  boy of fourteen.

The teacher was alone in her class, all alone,

The boy dashed in like a storm,

Slit her throat and butchered her,

She fell down in a pool of blood screaming .

The  cause for such provocation is a warning,

The irregularity and inefficiency  of the  boy was  condemned,

It is but the duty of the teacher to do so,

The infuriating rashness has cost a precious life.

The post of a teacher has become  a mockery,

Her family is now destined to suffer,

A momentous fury has brought death,

It is difficult,to comprehend, really difficult.

Dash Out

The school bell rang for the day,

The children scrambled fast in a gay,

They packed their bags in a fray,

Then ran out of the campus like a ray,

The movement resembled a lively dash out.

The curtains came down on the stage,

The play was about the medieval age,

The enactment was of an eloquent engage,

There was a loud ovation of a great range,

The dispersal reflected  a pleasant dash out.

There was an agitation in the town,

The agitators shouted in a high tone,

It was a protest distinctively shown,

The Police dispersed them with a firm  foot down,

The confusion led  to a ghastly dash out.

A sudden fire broke out in a high raised building,

The red tongs blew fiercely  unyielding,

The inmates  scuttled up and down wailing,

The fire fighters were desperately struggling,

The precipitated race was a panic dash out.

Dash outs are both pleasant and hurried,

They pronounce an acceleration scurried,

They are  fast momentum unusually levied,

Expressing at times a cheer of high breed,

Extending mostly a fear of tensed creed.

The Talk of Money

The talk of money makes me giggle,

Billions and millions and hundreds wriggle,

Like ants on the sandy ground trouble.

Going up and going down in a wobble

The talk of money makes me apprehensive,

The relevance to it is  effectively reflective,

The legitimacy of currency is abusive,

Creating an unpleasantness effusive.

The talk of money is all-pervasive,

Serving and seducing in a way contributive,

Striking the bonds in a sequence  effective,

Forcing a disenchantment repulsive.

The talk of money makes me plaintive,

The value of other skills become diminutive,

The love for money acquires a directive,

Shadowing other validities to a defective.

A Pullback

My heart sank to the deepest blue,

The  day’s events pulled me down true,

A shot of quick anger rose in a flew,

A drop of tear rolled down in a groove,

The heart stopped in a slew,

I buried my head in a dejection all through.

A few minutes later I got up with vigour,

Brushed aside the tear in a rigour,

Sidelined the events to a meagre,

Abated the fuming resulting out of trigger,

Rose up with a stature even bigger,

Resolved to emerge victorious with a glitter.

The Story of a Family.

It was only  few years back,

The  family’s going was good ,

The pride was  extremely high,

The cheer was delightfully great,

Naturally, its arrogance was exorbitant.

The family made  a loud show off,

A gross vanity was  directly found,

A rudeness was  always practised,

A  total disrespect to all was shown,

Its  impudence was  absolutely unbearable.

Today the scenario has changed,

The progress has been stalled by their insincerity,

Their prosperity has eroded considerably,

Their  prestige has been lost effectively

Still they have not  realised the reality.

It is a pity to see the family ,

Facing a loss of enormous wealth

Seeing its vast properties auctioned,

Experiencing an untold misery and shame,

Still unable to accept the fault which they committed.

Examining the plight of the family straight,

Traced the folly of the person at the helm,

It was an unmindful expansion all through,

Neatly setting aside a sizeable portion for him,

Landing the business in an unprecedented  debacle.

The team of husband and wife strove hard,

Built an empire by thoughtful moves,

Engaged themselves in philanthropic activities,

Handed everything to one son by love or ploy ,

Saw the whole thing crash like a pack of cards.

Favouring a  part of their  own family most,

Shelling out a  fruitful fraction to the other part,

Taking away mercilessly what was given from one child,

Making her languish in disappointment and tears,

Caused the family to suffer immensely.

A Gory Idiom

Apparently it was a hallucination,

It came from nowhere,

It sounded hideous,

It shook the equanimity,

It became silent for a moment,

Deadly quiet and sullen,

The silence bore a distraction,

It was fearsome,

A croaking noise emanated,

Cracking the nerves and muscles,

It was a desolate voice,

Coming from a deep source,

Screeching shrill  and screaming,

Unravelling an abysmal  shout,

Sealing the mind to a gory idiom,

Devastating the life in all shades,

Alas! it tore the self into a faceless efficacy.

An Uneasiness Prevails.

The ease winds up,

A struggle sets in,

The mind oscillates,

Anger mounts up,

The face turns scarlet,

The heart beats fast,

The body shakes in vigour,

Tears roll down,

Words fail,

It appears ferocious,

But it is nearly so,

It is a deep strain,

It is an alarming plight,

It is a terrific strife,

It is a trembling expectation.

Let us wait in patience.

From Physical Setback to Mental Occlude

It was a hard stare,

Seemed the eyes would fall off,

It was a wide gape,

Seemed  the throat would  jump off,

It was a violent  sneeze,

Seemed as if the nose would rip off,

It was a rapid panting,

Seemed  the breath would ebb off,

It was a severe palpitation,

Seemed the heart would pop off,

It was a terrible seizure,

Seemed  the body would tear off,

It was a heavy swirling,

Seemed the mind would slip off,

It was a physical turmoil,

Wherein the mental got turned off.
