Religions guide us through life.
Living upright is the way of life.
Speak not lies is all religion’s call.
Help the needy is their essential call.
Believe in truth is their underlying principle.
Never belie trust is every religion’s gospel.
Kind words and acts they advocate bring in harmony and peace.
Radiating cheer and happiness they prove demand no fees.
Humility and respect they insist command progression.
Authority and audacity they point out lead to destruction.
That being the basis of all religions at large.
Wherein breaks violence and unrest in a gorge?
Destroying the human race in gross.
Would people ever try to rectify the flaws?
Tag: Peace
to the tune of a song.
The sun mirthfully shone,
amidst the gleeful throng.
There was a mild sound,
which came along.
That expressed in a lovely tone,
an arrival of a new-born.
Crying in full throat,
the babe made the entry.
Alerting everyone with a short
sharp notes similar to a sentry.
Revitalising the surrounding
with a charming frenzy.
That brought out aloud,
the arrival of the new-born.
The anticipation turned out
to a passionate excitement.
The anxiety converted itself
into a delightful predicament.
There arose a tranquillity
embedded in peace and contentment.
That delivered in all serenity,
the arrival of the new-born.
The evening was sultry and hot.
There was no breeze to cool out.
It was unpleasant all through.
While sitting heaving and puffing in the patio
Got calls from friends in a row.
Each one expressing a strain sad
Emphasizing the unkindness meted out.
The senior one wished to die
holding strongly destiny in her hands.
The other one cursed his siblings to a tragic death.
adorning himself in a prophetical garb.
The last one was in bad health.
Depression had taken its toll.
He had shed his snobbish pride,
Lo!looked demure and desolate,
The poor weakling wished nothing, cursed none,
He only longed for peace to return.
These added up to the heat around.
Making one to think and think aloud.
Finally found out that
Happiness is within ourselves
Not anywhere else.
An Unruffled Mind.
Let it be a tremor.
Let it be a storm.
Let it be a hurricane.
Let it be a revolution.
Let it be an up rise.
Let it be a battle.
Let it be a murder.
Let it be a gory accident.
Let it be an untimely death.
Let it be a disappointment.
Let it be an embitterment.
Let it be unpleasant.
Let it be ghastly.
Let it be terrible.
Let it be happiness.
Let it be exhilaration.
Let it be a pleasant weather.
Let it be fun.
Let it be entertainment.
If the mind remains unruffled.
Then the mind rests in peace.
It revels in joy.
A Definition of Old Age
The little one asked “What is old age?”
It is an age which tries to free from all bondage,
An age, which gets distracted from all outage,
An age, which communicates through a silent language.
As the day closes into dusk
As peace leads to an exhilaration always,
Youth enters the old
age with a grace,
Strings of grey hair are seen in a trace.
Stay at Home
Life is to live well,
With cheer and peace,
Driving hatred in a fleece,
Interacting with an ease,
Oh ! Do we have more to tell?
Life is to earn ,
With hard work and perseverance,
Amass wealth never at other’s grievance,
Make money with due diligence,
Oh! Is it the only yearn?
Life is to be happy,
Cherish every minute with a proper outfit,
Enjoy each experience in a true befit,
Chase melancholy as it is a culprit,
Oh! Is it not a little crappy?
Life is to save,
Preserve health with care
Never seek wealth with a glare,
Hold on to the present bare,
Oh! Is there anything more to rave?
Life is for the present,
It is not for the future,
Live well today in rapture,
Live dignified now with nomenclature,
Oh! Can’t you see yonder light flourescent?
Life is for only once,
A mad rush for money is indecent,
A struggle for largess is least complacent,
Losing health in the milieu becomes permanent,
Oh! tell me, is it not a bad bounce?
Oh My Dear!
Oh my dear!
I need rest
Oh my dear!
Will I get it ?
Oh my dear!,
I know not how?
Oh my dear!
When will I get peace?
Oh my dear!
I wish to sleep,
Oh my dear!
Let slumber embrace me,
Oh my dear!
Let me not wake up,
Oh my dear!
Let me ebb into eternity ,
Oh my dear!
Un noticed, Unsung,Un honoured ,
Oh my dear!
Not to be born again,
Oh my dear!
Will you grant me?
Oh my dear!
Please you should,
Oh my dear!
With warm regards ,
To you my dear!
Far Beyond
We see a shining spy,
Glistening like a fry,
Squeezing the eyes in a pry,
We get a glimpse of a try,
Which may be an elusive lie,
But very much a tangible wry,
Through a scorched thicket dry
Over a credential sigh,
Acquiring with a hope alive,
The treasured olive
Which is far beyond,
Very much beyond ,
The normal rejoin.
