The deities in temples  are divine.

They  are made of stones fine.

They elucidate a lovely shine.

 

Deities have sculptural beauty.

The artisans carve it with  duty.

Giving them a lofty credibility.

Bringing out  a design of chastity.

 

Deities are now decked with outfits in gold

They make the deities appear bold.

The shine extols the charm people are told.

Gold deduces the divinity to a mere metallic hold.

 

Silver too competes with the metal yellow.

The mercurial  dazzle dims the glow.

Grace is dimmed by the silvery flow.

Money overtakes purity in a slow.

 

Temples are no longer place of prayer.

They indulge in display of wealthy layer.

We hear no songs sung with fervour.

We listen to talks of  self praise all over.

 

Temples no longer exude warmth.

They detract every one by exposing wealth.

Instigating a feeling of stealth.

Sealing the mind with ill-health.

Desiring  more is greed so ever.

Eating more is gluttony ever.

Drinking more is a vice forever.

Talking more is an insensible prattle moreover.

Working hard  is  an oppression in terms ever.

Fuming with anger  is a crime whatsoever.

Passively  patient is a negative virtue  forever.

“More” jacks up greed with fervour.

“More” packs up values in a savour.

“More ” has more inferences than the eyes could rover.

Avaricious Claim


Totally it is a claim of all things

A claim comprising everything.

Stocks and shares take the wing.

Land and property give a ring.

Gold and silver oscillate in a swing.

The claimant poses to be a King.

He wants for himself everything.

He amasses all with greed in the touching.

The others are left with a desolate reaching.

He enjoys the wealth with a great  tweeting.

He leaves the rest in a dilemma wriggling.

This is found in corporate and in all dwellings.

Avarice gains predominance in all surroundings.

A Feverish Talk


It was a feverish talk.

It depicted a mental block.

The anger was beyond the stock.

The expressions were hideously  cocked.

It went on and on  for hours through the clock.

 

It was hard to listen to the verbal shout.

It was  sheer agony to hear the slanderous sort.

Impatience triggered  a mental beset.

Caution  took the bestof times  as to not to be caught.

There was a struggle in between the slot.

The annoyance was a result of an unhealthy clot.

 

The swearing and cursing were unbearable.

The sobbing and whimpering were intolerable.

The incessant calling was really a strain incorrigible.

An intention to bang the telephone became irresistible.

Well it was a frightful exercise all throughout the day’s table.

The Clouds Gather


It is a sight to see the clouds gather.

They seem to dash against each other.

They attempt to pass over one another.

They are dark and bright all over.

The black clouds appear to jump over.

The bright ones seem to hover.

The dark clouds look  full with moisture.

The bright  clouds appear like fluffy flakes all over.

The moisture laden clouds try to fall as a shower.

The snow clouds instigate a stoppage as ever.

Which would triumph in the race as forever?

If the black one wins it is a boon to all whatsoever.

As it ushers copious rain and prosperity more so ever.

It is easy to blame others.

Well that is how the world  looks at things.

Well that is what each one is made off.

The soil is ever beautiful,

With sand colourful.

White is the colour of the beach sand.

Red  forms the fertile sand.

Black takes up the alluvial sand.

Brown is attributed to river sand.

A large colourful hue is in the band.

Adding a ray of gold to the land.

Fixing a streak of silver to the land.

Enhancing the glow and the glitter of the land,

With fertility, fecundity and productivity all  in a grand.

Oh! It is a lovely  land!
